yes a balance in both is required to be considered really active in mylot....i respond more than i start discussions though. why? because I only start discussions when I feel like sincerely like starting one, on a certain topic...what i mean is, i don't just start discussions or post replies for the sake of posting it..... i think everything i say and do here comes from the heart. (LoL, cheesy!)

I think I respond more to discussions than start them. I'm always thinking of interesting toppings but it's not easy coming, original discussions. up with different

Hi friend, I reapond to a lot more posts than create posts. I only start a post when I really want to tell you, mylotters, something. My realtion with this site is mainly social (earning money here is not my main purpose) so I don´t feel up to start a post about something that is not of my real interest. But many of the things a fellow mmber says is of interest to me and I respond. I am not seeking to be active at mylot, but I must be without trying. I have friends, I reach payment almost every month (except when I´m not in town for sometime), and I have for a long time the coveted blue star. Take care and happy posting!

That is to respond and discussed. - Responsed in the sense, that, I may be able to share and give an additional idea to what has been discussed. - Discussed in the sense that, giving and airing new ideas that will somehow open new knowledge for the readers. In these two categories, a characteristic of quality topic is a must for each and everyone.

I prefer to respond to discussions started by others. I know I am not that creative in getting my set of discussions right, but occasionally I do pop in with one or two. Some of them have been a bit successful too but somewhere I feel that I unable to catch up with the current vibes on the given day and this is why many of my discussions do not get me good responses. If they did, I would feel motivated and try to come up with some thing more... The more would definitely be better Have a great time, Sids

I do both, but opening a discussion is pretty much my interest unless I've found an interesting one to respond to, like this I guess.

it depends on how i feel..sometimes i like to post some discussions sometimes not. I do respond comments too. yes, i enjoy both.

Hey i always tried to give more response on more discussions.. and sometimes i also started discussions on various topics when i think their is no such discussions which i can reply.. so it is the better way to started some new discussions.. on some good topics..

Realy starting a discussion is great. that leads another people also get benefit. But after joining in Triond I have given up to start discussion. some times my brain is blankout. I just only do responses. i should thankthe people who starts discussions. starting discussions is a matter of practices. i should try it again.

I like to respond better than making discussions . I am not really a good writer that is why t is also hard for me to be creative and think of topics to discuss about. I find it easier to just answer the questions in the discussion and just share what I know about the topic

Hi man, I really want to ask something. If a don't commend in my dicssution, is it ok. And, comment has any affect to my earning. I am slso a new member, so I want to find out about it. Can you share your idease to me. In my opinion, my prefer to post new topics.

I like responding more than starting discussions. I start responding to discussions when I started mylotting, and I'm almost got used to it now. To start a discussion, I'll have many considerations, like, would it be duplicated, would it messed with some of the "don'ts", though I have read the faq, but I'm still afraid that I might have some misunderstandings. The worst thing is I'm afraid that the discussions I start, if any, would have no response at all.

it is hard to say.when i need help,i would like to stat a discussion.but most of time, i would like to read some interesting topic and respond it

When I was just starting here, I posted discussions as many as I could per day. I had an agenda and that is to reach a 100 post so I can see my star.:)Then, when this was fulfilled I posted a lot more religiously to reach my 500 post this time so I can copy and paste.LOL Yes, of course, I can also do that by responding, too, to a lot of discussions but it also requires me to read a lot first. So it is better to just laid down my thoughts and let the ball rolling from there. It was easier for me to make my digits rose up in a speedy way.:) Right now, I am more into responding because there were hardly thoughts I had that I wanted to share here that I think was interesting enough to be responded by.So, I'm just foregoing that for the meantime. I am still active here but as a respondent.:)

There are times where it really depends on the day for me. I mean, there are some times where the creativity well is rather dry. Therefore, if I have no ideas, than it would be extremely difficult, impossible even, to really post any discussion topics. There are days where I think that I would like to post something for others to discuss, but only if I have that idea. It can be ugly trying to force something like that. Then there are those days where no topics are just interesting me enough to respond to them. On another day, I would be interested by the topic. Still there is just something that causes me to fail and thus not be able to write even the simplest word on a topic. These times are few and far between granted, but they still happen. That's why I try and post topics on those days, because I can get some work done. It is odd how I go through certain moods on this great website on a day to day basis. There are a lot of changes, many changes in fact, as moods continue to really change how I post. Sometimes there are many responses, but little to no topics. Then there are many topics but hardly any responses. Then there are rare days where I somehow achieve a balance. It really does depend.
