I keep hearing about the Ipad, and I just wondered if it is really worth buying. I'd like to have one, but I already have a laptop, cell phone, and ipod. I can access the internet on each one. Is there anything the IPad can do that I can't already? If you have one, what do you think of it?

I guess most people buy iPad due to their curiosity. I would say an iPad not much different from other apple computers overall. A computer is a computer, except offer faster operating speed, nothing matter that much to me. You can listen to music through your iPod, and you can do other stuffs too. So, wait until the price right, I might get an iPad myself too.

I don't have one either, but have thought about it more for my son. He is nonverbal and uses a touchscreen talking device and I hear they have alot of apps that can be used for communication.

No ipad, but I love my iPod touch. I think an ipad would ne too big for me. I like my iPod because it is small, and easy to manage.

I do not have an ipad. I do think that most people get curious about it considering that there are a lot of people having it and usually its more of a fashion thing. I already have a laptop and I think laptop can do more than what the ipad does. Unless you have extra money to buy and ipad, then perhaps it would be great to have.

I have an iPhone and the iPad is just a bigger iTouch. It doesn't have a camera and its just a bigger computer screen. I think a lot of people got all gooey about owning one and now they are sort of comical, I haven't seen too many people with them but maybe I'm not hanging out at the right apple bar.

Ipad seems to be gaining a lot of popularity these days. I see many people playing around with ipads. I have not tried it yet. As you said I have other computers and I don't quite feel the need to buy an ipad.

No iPad here either, but from what I know, the iPad is basically an e-book reader. If you want to read on the go (especially coloured comics and magazines) then it might be worth looking at the iPad.
If you're an iPhone user who wants a bigger screen then yes, an iPad may also be an option. Otherwise, I'd say there's nothing really for the iPad unless you really want a touchscreen computer.
Hope that helps!

I think that the iPad is a fantastic toy that slowly becomes your internet browser of choice. I have looked at them and decided to put off purchasing one until it has a camera. I Skype a lot and no camera is a real disadvantage. I don't much care for the idea that can read a book on the iPad, I prefer paper, but I can see the advantage of getting rapid access to a library. So it all boils down to having the cash to flash on something that may only become indispensable after you've bought it. Right now I'm keeping my money in the Boss's purse..... She's bound to have a better use for it!

I do not have an iPad but I do have other apple products like the 3GS iPhone, iTouch, Nano. It is so annoying how they make new technology every year and it makes you want the new products. However, I am probably going to get the iPad once the price drops (by then another new iPad probably will come out) -___-
