Tonight is one of those nights that i have got stuck watching a program called Medium, so i know that i will not be going to bed until it has finished, also if there is another one after this program i will probably end up staying up and watching that aswell.Even though we can record the programs i am still sitting here watching them instead og recording them.

That's hilarious because when my husband sees me watching it he just huffs and puffs and walks out of the room. He don't like it, but it's addictive to me. It's amazing the things you learn or how you can get carried away watching a show. Did you see the one were Hotchners wife got shot. I was in shock. But I still miss seeing Giddion on there. I just wish I was as smart as Reed. Sorry for the rambling, it's late.

Hi jugs! I love that show "Medium" and watch it all the time, it's so good! Yes, I always stay up watching the programs later at night because when I first lay down I have a million things going through my mind that I'm thinking of. So, of course, watching these programs and thinking all at the same time keeps me up. I wish I could record them sometimes because I have to really concentrate when I'm watching them, haha. And sometimes I miss a couple of minutes thinking of other stuff. I'm so bad!

I find that it is alot easier to watch, aswell as hear the tv, when all the children, have settled down aswell as gone to sleep.I think that it is pointless if the children are making a noise when you are trying to watch the tv.I say to myself every night that i will have an early night, but it never happens as i get watching things on the tv.

With the new fall season coming up we have so many new shows that we like to watch.
It's really hard to figure out which one to watch and which ones to tape.
Then there are some that are on at the same time .
We might have to skip a few

In the past when i have recordered things off the tv,i have not watched them,i usually end up recording other things and never get around to watching them.I think that this week i will record alot of things as that way if there are not things on the tv at the weekend then there will be something that both me and my husband will be able to watch together.

This happens to me as well at times, and I have netflix! I usually want to know what is going to happen next so I will keep watching and before I realize it it is past midnight. It usually happens to me with Dexter and Nip Tuck!

I think that even if a program has just started,or one that will be starting soon,we all tend to sit knowing that when we start to watch it we will not be able to stop watching it,so there we know we will not be ending up going to bed early.Well worth staying up watching the tv,until we are tired the next day.

That has happened to me so many times. I go to work the next day and regret it but then I do it again that night!

I'm just like u. I prefer to stay up watching those programs but never wanting to record them. The feeling is different when we are looking forward to watch something, knowing we can miss it. BUt when we have recorded it, we will tend to put it off because we know it's there and we can watch anytime we want to.
Therefore when there's any nice movie, i will be sure to stay up finishing it, even if it eats up my sleeping time because i don't want to feel guilty over it.

I do not watch television so much as I just get online and stay forever. I am so sleepy tonight, and it is really early. I find it a wonder that I am able to type at all. Now don't you stay up too late.

Oh, get over you're self, jugsjugs, LOL! You know most of us are up watching our favorite television show marathons too, we're all television %unkies! I never sleep when one of my favorites is on regardless whether it is running one or 24 hours---I'm h@@ked! I wonder if they have reha# for T.V. a&&icts? Even if they do, I can't go because I'd miss too many episodes of all my favorite shows. And sleep, who sleeps when their favorite show is on? Heck, you can catch a few winks inside the bathroom stall at work the next day: "T.V. %unkies unite!" Hot-cha-cha-chaaaaa! Sleep is for the faint of heart; let's keep staring at the blue-tube-of- wonder 'till the cows come home! ...wait, I don't own any cows....

Yea me too! Some programs are just too enticing that has made me carry on watching it instead of recording. I've always loved these moments!

I am as bad as you are. When there was a program that I like or when I got a new Korean drama, I would stay up even knowing the next day was not a holiday. I have not slept since last night and it is now 12 noon. I think I've been up for 28 hours now, there are still 5 hours to work till 5pm. Oh.. oh..

I do that too. I cannot record any program but I watch some even though there would be a repeat telecast the next day either in the morning or afternoon. It gets kind of addictive. Moreover, I watch it at nights because that is the time when my daughter is asleep and I have nothing to distract me.

I had to comment to this. I can't believe I missed Medium, lol. Oh well. I only started watching it bcuz of Ghost Whisperer. Anyway back to the discussion at hand. I know exactly how you feel. I'm ADD so when I set in front of the tv I tend to zone out and forget it's bedtime.
It got to the point I was almost tempted to buy a timer so it turned off on its own. But I was afraid I'd mess my tv up. In the end most night I'm stuck watching tv or I will make sure not to turn it on to begin with and remember, hey i can watch this online tomorrow, which then takes time away from my writing. So yeah it's easier to record it and watch it on the tv after I've done my quota of writing. Or I will let it play in the background, watch the interesting parts and then make up for what i missed later. But if I'm really desperate for my shows fix, I tell myself it's research, they will have something on it I can write about at one of the places I write for, which in turns helps me earn money. Got the ideas written down but haven't wrote anything as of yet, lol.

Hello my friend jugsjugs Ji,
I am little old to such items to be lured. I try and sleep by 2230 hrs, the programme may be of any interest and amy be extra ordinary. I am not for the programmes, programmes are for me. They are only my ways and media of entertainment. So I do not get distorted by them.
May God bless You and have a great time.

Its really tough for me to figure out which programs that I would enjoy watching. Because I am afraid the networks will just cancel it and then I would have wasted my time watching the show. I would like to ask my friends which are their favorite shows to watch so I know which shows are entertaining. I will try to give the new shows a chance but don't think I could watch all of them.

I watch a lot of shows "On Demand" and Medium is one of them. I like to watch them that way because then I can watch them at any time, and there aren't as many commercials. The problem is sometimes there are so many shows that I want to watch, sometimes I stay up later than I should watching them. I tend to stay up late on the computer also, but I am trying to change that by shutting it down earlier.

I've had this habit before too.
I always watch TV until I doze off, so I always have something on late at night. Before, it was always the Dave Letterman Show, then it was the Dave Ferguson show which comes after the Dave' show at 12:35am.
Then there was a time where cable was showing reruns of House at 12 midnight. And this show is one that I always finish. So, it's always 1am at the earliest before I get to sleep.
Lately, I've been getting really tired and I sleep earlier. At 12:30am.
