What's the specs of the laptop and the warranty? Personally I don't buy electronics from China unless they are branded and have a warranty because I'm terrified of it failing when I need it the most.

Is it the same as this one? http://is.gd/fiUhQ (sorry for using is.gd, myLot wouldn't let me use the full address).
If it is, then I'd recommend you skip it. The build quality looks very suspicious and if the battery life is considered to be only 2 hours then I'd suggest you get a different computer. In day-to-day use, the battery life only works half of what it claims, so if they say 2.5 hours realistically you're looking at only one hour.
Perhaps look around some more? You may wanna check out the Prolink laptops if you're looking for something cheap. I use it when I'm outside my house and away from my desktop, and so far it's been quite reliable.

I would suspect that China could put a quite economical PC on the market, and I've heard talk of such a thing. But I have never seen one and really can't help you. Try to find information on line about the specific make and model of the laptop you are interested in. The initial good price won't be much of a celebration, if the thing doesn't work.

If it is branded then it could be a grey import, that is not brought in by the official company or representative. They may not be stolen or smuggled.
Based on experience I would avoid buying Chinese made laptops with unknown brand names. Even many Chinese sellers in my country do no recommend them.
If you are lucky the unit may last for a few years. If not, you will have a big problem in getting it repaired.
Stick to one which has a greater customer support It may cosy more, but it is worth the peace of mind.

Php 6000 for a laptop is cheap. But you have to consider what the specifications of this laptop is?! Would you even dare think it is possible to have a laptop with lcd monitor and a hard drive, and a disc reader, and a good quality of video card only worth 6K? i highly doubt the specifications and the durability of the products being sold to you. Its only like the price of a cheap cellphone with 1 camera and an FM radio.
I'd say if you want value, buy at least the cheapest brand of laptop in a valid computer store...

I don't really consider where the product was made from as long as it is branded and has a warranty. Because I think these manufacturers have their own standards to follow and quality checks before releasing their products whether from China, Japan, US, or any other country. But if what they are selling you isn't branded, I suggest you to spend more and go for reliable branded laptops. You won't be happy by spending less for laptop for laptop that might not even last for a year.
Also, if what they are selling you is smuggled product, better not buy it even if it's branded. That might have a factory defect and they wouldn't give you a warranty for sure.

I have seen one. My friend bought one from china. It really is quite cheap but the performance just fit the price. Its a bit slow on almost every aspect. With the speed of present computers getting faster, its really hard to get used to the speed of the laptop. You'll only get pissed.
