Hi Reginald! Your name does remind me of royal. It is very unique and I have never heard it before until today. How do you pronounce your name? (Ree-gin-old)?

Hi Mai, it is a pleasure meeting you as well. That is a very nice name. I have heard it numerous times before as well because I am Vietnamese too. What a coincidence. Michelle is also a nice name. What name do you prefer Mai or Michelle?

Hi Anthony,
What a coincidence that we are both Vietnamese! I do not have a preference, whichever is fine, I like both names.

Hello, welcome to myLot!
My name really has no meaning. My aunt gave it to me out of nowhere. If i were to choose a name i would wish it came from the name of my parents or aunts or grandparents. Because when asked with this question, i really don't have an appropriate answer..poor me :(

Hello and Thank you!
My name is quite boring and typical if you think about it - so don't worry. My name is Anthony and I never really looked up the meaning until now and the first web link I chose said it means Worthy of Praise.. but who knows?? My parents named me after my grand father so I guess it has a little bit of meaning but not much since it is not really unique. I am sorry you do not have a meaning behind your name but I am pretty sure your aunt has a reason to name you the name you have. You should ask her, also you did not tell me your name, care to tell? If you do not want to, that is fine too. :)

Hi Anthony! I like your name. In the Catholic world (but I'm not Catholic), St. Anthony is the patron saint of the lost.
My name is Gloria. Obviously, it means "glory". I was named after a beauty queen from our country who won the Miss Universe title.

hello, my name is Rembulan Marchelita Risdianto. Sounds weird uh? Well, its an Indonesian name
"Rembulan" means 'moon' in english. my parents gave this name because they want me to shine in the dark like the moon, be usefull for people. just like my brother name "Bintang" means 'star'.
"Marchelita" comes from two words, March and Lita. "Lita or Jelita" means beautiful. So Marchelita means beautiful girl who born in March.
and Risdianto is taken from my father last name. I don't really understand what that means...

Hello again Rembulan Marchelita Risdianto,
When I looked up my name it said Worthy of Praise but there were other meanings too. I am not sure if my parents knew what Anthony meant but named me it anyway. My grandpa was a good guy, perhaps that is why :)

Anthony is an interesting name. It's a roman family name of unknown Etruscan origin. Probably the most famous person to have this name was Marcus Antonius. It got more spread out in the Christian world because of Saint Anthony the Great, who founded Christian monasticism. Also, the patron saint of Portugal is Saint Anthony of Padua.
My name is Andrew (Andrei, in my country's language). It means "man". It is also the name of the first apostle to join Jesus. He preached in eastern Europe, in the Black Sea region and is the patron saint of my country (and several others). And this is why my mother chose this name - she is a very religious person.

Hi, Anthony! My name is Diane Cecilia. I was named after the Roman moon goddess, Diana, because I was born on a Monday, "the moon's day." I was named Cecilia after St. Cecilia, the patroness of musicians, because both of my parents are musicians. "Cecilia," by the way, means "blind" in Latin and St. Cecilia is said to be blind. See, my MyLot alias is "blindmoongoddess" because that's what my real name means.

Hi Diane Cecilia,
Wow, your name has great meaning and was probably planned too? Because you were born exactly on a Monday = Moon's day. That was cool how your parents got to incorporate your name with music because they are musicians. Very nice name, never would have known, thanks for sharing with me.
