Sometimes it is the most obvious solution.

You notice that a lot of the times with computer problems, you rack your brains for some solution but it turns out to be the most obvious thing in the world. For instance, the speakers don't work because the speakers are partially unplugged. That happened to me once. I am sure there are other examples.

Usually: Something's not plugged in right, or you forgot to pay your bills. The last is very often in tech support.

Forgetting to pay bills happened to someone I knew. It was not his responsibility but the supervisor at his job was not on the ball. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

There is truth in what you said. Our inability to break down problems into smaller units, our haste to arrive at a solution and our emotions often cloud the true problem. As such we often make matters worse and end up being very frustrated.

Very true. We sometimes make things worse by attempting to make them too complex. And we do make them even more complex. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Yes sometimes I also faced some problems related to my computer. Sometimes problem of speakers which doesn’t working sometime so I check twice its connectivity and also checks its setting on control panel and mostly time I get solutions. Sometimes I also faced problem of computer doesn’t start. So then I open CPU and check all parts like RAM and connectivity of hard disk to mother board. And each wires. And mostly time I get success to correct it. So I think some small problem of computer I may solve. Because I think I doing many practice of problem facing.

Yes nine times out of ten, its something that should be thought of straight away and about the first thing you check. Unfortunately, there is that one time where its not. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.

Hello, Well this is a typical problem we face almost everyday. We are engaged in surveying complicated parts and just overlook the simplest possibilities. One of my friend once called me to help him with his router. Everything seemed to be okay. The driver was installed, the router was on and working, yet connection couldn't be established. Then suddenly I discovered that the port was disabled. I immediately enabled it and tried to reconnect. Then everything was all right. The problem was so easily solved, but who could've guessed it. Thanks. God bless you.

Being in the computer support world, I always start with the simple things first.. as you stated, you can sit there racking your brain, ready to pull your hair out.. and it turns out to be the simple thing that was the problem. I was doing support for ADP autobody shop software.. each month new data cd went out.. shop calls in talked to someone else.. said the cd was not working and he needed a new one.. so they sent him another.. I get the call, new cd still not working.. so i ask him when was the last time it did work... he says.. hmmm it has been a few weeks since we really used it before we got the new cd, so I said, ok think of when the last time you used it and it worked.. he pipes up and answers.. oh yeah just before I shot it... i respond.. shot it? what do you mean.. he says oh i painted it, and put some nice stripes on and everything looks really nice.. i said painted what.. the computer? he says yeah why.. i say did you take the cd rom drive out when you did this? oh no i just taped up the little led light etc.. i said well most likely you probably have overspray on the cd laser lens inside the cd rom drive and that is preventing it from reading your cds, I said do you have a music cd, yeah.. ok try that.. oh hey its not working either.. ok do you have another computer in the shop.. yeah.. ok go try your data cd in that computer and see if it works.. a few min later he comes back.. yeah its working on that computer.. what do i have to do.. well you could try to get a cd laser cleaning kit, but i doubt that will remove the overspray, if that does not work, you will need to get a new cd rom drive... grin.. in this case the simple problem of the cd being bad was not the problem.. but that would be the first thought/step to take.. :)

yeah...i am facing very different kind of problems with my desktop computer. It shutdown automatically and every time i try to restart my pc, it shutdown immediately. It only restart successfully after 10-15 minutes of rest. This happens 2-3 times a day. Its very irritating.

Problems like that are not as simple, agreed. Unfortunately, it looks like if something like that is happening, something really serious might be wrong. So it might be time to call in a professional. Thank you for your response. It is much appreciated and it contributed to the topic well. Have a nice day and thanks.
