Facebook: Does it help you or Make you worse?

I've been heard this all the time
from 7 years old boy to a 70 years old man
everybody knows about this site
from recreation, finding friends and lot more
i read one article before that it is the worse invention in the internet
does it make any sense, spending all day just to play games on facebook
chatting to friends all around the globe
if you use this site
does it help or make it worse

i think it really depends on you really.. i use it just to get in touch with my friends and knowing what they are up to now.. sometimes i even get to know new people through this site.. so there good in this kind of sites.. but i can't disagree that there are bad things as well.. one of it is people can easily lie about themselves and trick people using this sites.. but we as the user should have the responsibility in how we use it, and also in choosing who we add into our list of friends..

It depends on how you use it and for what.
I used to use Facebook for work, mainly to promote conversations around the company and hype for everything else. It's a very effective tool and really promotes discussions.
However, since I've left the company, I use Facebook mainly to game and keep track of friends. That's a plus point for me, since otherwise I wouldn't be able to follow them. So it really depends on how you use Facebook.
