I know that, each country will has its special and unique holidays.
Thers are so many holiday during the year in my country, vietnam. New year, valentien's day, independent's day, May day, Mother's day, Father's day, Moon day...
And do you know that, today is Moon day. Do you country has this holiday?
We celebrate Moon day in August 15th lunar calendar, today is the day for family reunion. All of my family join together to celebrate the holiday, to eat out, to discuss, to share many many things. In the past, I really really love this holiday because I love the story about it.
Now, my favorite holiday is "Tet holiday". the biggest holiday in my country; In this holiday, we have at least 7-8 day off. This holiday is teh biggest one, there are many many special events during this holiday. I love "Tet holiday" because I can have more time to relax, to go travel, have more time with family.
How about you, What's your favorite holiday in your country?

We do not have Moon Day. Or Tet holiday. I like Thanksgiving the best, because it is not a gift giving occasion, but it is a great time for families. It is not a long holiday. I think it is very important to take the time to be thankful in our lives and to appreciate our family. Many people travel for this holiday. I travel about three and a half hours by car. This year my daughter will be there, she has a much longer trip. This holiday means a lot in our family because many of the people in our family have birthdays at about that time. My children have birthdays that week, so does my sister and my brother is the week before.

I have always enjoyed the christmas holiday. It is a special time for family and friends. it brings out the warmth and generosity in people that usually don't show this kindness to others throughout the year. Christmas just leaves me with a good feeling and I look forward to this holiday.

The most favorite holiday in our country would be Christmas. This is the only holiday that i can say is full of fun and giving. Even the poorest of the poor give and share something to their kids and neighbors. Christmas holiday is the days where there will be lots of parties, fun, games, food and reunions as well. This is the time where most families would reunite and celebrate Christmas together.

I really love Christmas. In the Philippines, it is the most celebrated holiday of the year and you may feel the spirit of Christmas from the start of the "ber months" where most of the FM radio stations play some Christmas songs. It is the holiday season with the longest preparation among the Catholics. From decorating the house or office, gift wrapping, caroling, Misa de Gallo, Noche Buena until the midnight of New Year, you may feel the Christmas.

Hi! Christmas is my favorite holiday and time of the year. I just love Christmas time and here in our country, at the beginning of "ber" months which is September we could already feel that Christmas is in the air. Christmas songs are being played on the radio, on TV and Christmas decorations are displayed in malls and people start to decorate their homes too. For me, it's the happiest time of the year because it's the season for LOVE, for GIVING and SHARING, for FAMILY REUNIONS and for get-together with FRIENDS. It's the happiest time of the year too for KIDS when it comes to GIFT GIVING and SANTA CLAUS. :) Aside from that, we all know that it's the birth of JESUS CHRIST and that's how MEANINGFUL Christmas is... :)

I come from China, my favorite is the Mid-Autumn Festival, it represents a happy harmonious family
reunion. The successful implication of the moon's beautiful earth. There are too many suffering in the world, this festival is to let everyone remember the good on the side. Hope you enjoy the holiday.

My country doesn't have unique holidays. We only have the universal holidays like May day, Mother's day, Christmas, Easter, national day.
My favorite holiday is Christmas followed close by Easter. I always spend theese holidays with my family, I find them some kind of ... family holidays.
