Readbud present itself as a legit paid-to-read website on the outside but on the inside Readbud is nothing but an outright scam site. Sorry that you invested time
that you won't be paid for, but on the bight side you gain some knowledge "don't believe all the hype that you hear." No one has ever been paid by Readbud. This is why? I only join websites with a track record that has been around for at least a year and has good reviews from their members.

You are right my friend on the outside they look legit but on the inside its a total different approach.
No one has been paid? i read somewhere that there are three payment proofs and they are all living in australia, saying they only pay members there only because thats where the owner of the site comes from, how true is that?

It is really heart-breaking if you spent lots of time but more heart-breaking if you invest money. It's good there is no money involved, but precious time which is also a reason to despair. Well dear, Readbud is a scam. It has been proven so. Read this, http://www.bukisa.com/articles/323273_readbud-get-paid-to-read-articles-a-certified-scam

I reached the payout amount of $50 on 18 August and claimed. As soon as I had done so, my balance returned to zero and I expected to hear from Readbud within 30 days (as per their Terms of Service).
I am sorry to say that I have not heard one word from them since then (and I have repeatedly checked my Inbox, Spam and Junk folders to see if a message went astray). I am afraid to say that Readbud DO NOT pay. If they did, there would be many more 'payment proofs' around. I have only seen three and I strongly suspect that all of these are faked.

OMG, so you even managed to get to the minimun payout?
Have you checked your mails lately?
What can be done about it now,
I mean cant the law take action on them??
Its so annoying,if i was the law,the owner would be in jail because he is making a lot of money from us,you know by getting page impressions from cpm, cpa, ppc companies.
This is not fair at all.
Where can we report this site so that a legal action can take place?

Hi luxlangels. Readbud has turned scam long back but I continue to read articles there as I love reading. If you are interested in joining some legit sites then visit my profile.

It's currently under investigation, but my opinion is it is a scam. I use to be a member too, but I don't do anything there anymore because I honestly believe it is a scam. Anyone who got paid lived in Austraila, where the site was formed, and others were fake payments (they were proven to be fake). Also, I have heard many complaints of people getting to the 50 dollar cash out and then Readbud telling them they read the articles too fast and could not recieve the money.
