hi snowqueen thought something was keeping you from mylot.I hope
you are feeling much better.oh I also was off from here for 11'months and I too thought I would never get back on track. but I had made
some really wonderful mylot friends here, and during my lengthy absence I managed to sign in every couple of months so I would not have my account deleted. I got back on track with the spe cial discussions I read my first day back that were all about me and wondering if I was okay and so then I responded to all and told them I was back a nd was now okay. The love and friendships extended to me was over whelming and it really belped me to get back on track here in mylot. When I was recuperating from a bad fall with a smashed left shoulder was when'I felt so out of snyc when I came back. for one thing I had had to have a shoulder joint replacement and I never ever have got all the use of myh left arm back. so when I first started back my lotting I was r eally having a time as I had to really force my right arm and hand to do their share of the typing.but I hung in there and slowly and surely got back at least the use of my left arm a nd hand to type with.I think you will get back on tract sooner if you just keep responding here. welcome back and hope you are feeling really fine again. hugs from hatley.

hi there snow, well i wish i can make the burden lighter as a response here, but i know it is not easy to be back on track if you just under went a surgery. though i am glad that it is a successful one. me and my wife will light a candle for your speedy recovery. give yourself time to heal and time for therapy as well. soon you will be back on track but things need to be taken slowly. Dog bless you

I had surgery in early July and felt the same way, will I ever feel like me again? Yes you will. You will get caught up, just don't over do it. What worked for me was making a small list each day to get through as I felt stronger I made my list a little longer until I was back to my old self prior to feeling so poorly before surgery. I had neglected many things for 6 onths prior to surgery because I felt so awful almost all the time. I was doing good right up till school started and now have to fit that in to my schedule also. I have no doubt that it will happen just have to work a little harder to make everything faall in to place.
I hope that you are feeling better. Just remember 1 step at a time. Make small goals until you feel that your making progress on getting caught up.

Well you sure look good on your new avatar.
Once you get back in the swing of things you be all right...it just takes a little time after you been sick. Just do Baby Steps, one thing at a time

I try to not let it get backed up, but if it does get too overwhelming, I'd have to delete my friends notifications from my inbox. That way I am not responding to a post that is too old and already resolved. Since I started school, I have been trying to keep up, but it's getting hard, so if you see I have not responded to some of your discussions, you know why..

sadly i never have. but when i was young enough and able enough, as soon as i had my coffee in the morning, id take a walk. didnt matter where. just a walk around the block and think about what i needed to do. then, back home id write them down and try to fullfill it during the day. these days i cant walk that much. so i get up, go to mylot then check different emails, then go do a little house work in between. its going to be slow, but you will get there.

Yeah, you'll be back on track. I have been going through this struggle I am in for almost two years now. Sometimes I feel like I have it all together and other times I feel a mess! But you just keep going. ACtually I started a blog yesterday to help me sort through all the raw emotions I face each day! I think it is helping me already!

By not overdoing things all at once. I have learned, oh the hard way though, that although I always had to be superwoman, my brain has been signaling me that I cannot do as much as before.
One thing that has helped me with this realization is that I have to remember that the time has passed even though I did not want it to in that manner, so why go nuts trying to do all things at one time. I get up each day and do the best that I can so that my brain and heart are sync with the generosity I tried to dish out.
WELCOME!!!!! WELCOME!!!! I have missed you but knew you would be back.. Hooray!!
