Why Apple computer is more expensive than other computers?

First of all good day for all. When u see the apple products they all stylish, light weight, more features, more battery life. When it comes to MAC computers u can see they have good design, performance, longevity. you can see MAC computers are being mostly used in entertainment industry. you know why? Because they have greater graphics which makes all the top end application to work smoothly. The MAC os is also used by only perfect engineers. The cost is high because of the greater graphics, design, logo.

well the brand ofcourse. its the main reason why we want to "think different"

Well, that is a good question. Apple computers are more expensive, and they have advantages and disadvantages. For example, they're made in a way that it's very difficult to open them without breaking the case, so you are forced to depend on the technical support, which is expensive in my opinion, if your Apple computer breaks. People say they don't break, but sure they do. These computers, in the other hand, are very powerful and their operating system is stable and is not easy to infect them with virus, as most of virus have been programmed to work in a Windows OS environment.

I'm not a technical person, but I recently found out that Mac computers have very little or none at all, risk infection with computer viruses. And I think this feature is really worth the extra pay; rather than paying less but spending more in the long run for repairs due to virus. Most importantly, it is a small price to pay compared to losing all your files due to virus. Another obvious reason is the design. MACs really look sleek compared to its pc counterparts.

Although Mac are expensive, they aren't really the best out there. I'm sure if you look at the specs you can find other computers that are the same as mac but at a lower price. I think mac had lower price mostly because its a popular brand and are known for good products.

Because of the low maintenance, trusted and reliable Apples, Inc. advance research and development on their computers or Macs. Its a customers' total quality Out Of the Box Experience. What you want is what you get. Customers just keeps on doing what they want to be done on a computer or Macs. Rather doing more on computers' maintenance, customers or users are concentrated to make more solutions, creativities and productivities to have a more healthy and enjoyable lifestyles. Using Macs or having Apple, Inc. products are a new emerging technological culture. There are cheaper Macs, they are the old models but still very usable and still powerful can do a lot of things. And still can't get headaches.

Apple computers are more reliable and they are much trusted, most of the computer servicing companies use Mac for networking.. When u are buying an Apple computer, u can be sure, that u are not only paying for the hardware and the software, u are paying for the brand named APPLE... The service rendered after delivery is pretty excellent.. Yes, the malicious attacks are very low.. Hardware quality and their sleeky design and the ease of use matters !!

Perhaps it's because of the design and quality which makes it so prominent in the computer industry.

Apple Computers are build from standard hardware.. I know G3's were built by LG that make TV's etc and had a MAC CPU that might have been morarola (i cant remeber) Im not sure who has the contract now for building the hardware, but end of the day its just fiber glass boards with caps and resistors on it, and the chips are made by Intel now.. Its mainly you can buy a watch for $5 or spend $5000 on a watch. both have a case both have parts that are very similar, often the only diffrence is the name or brand.. Although im a PC man, macs are more religable.. but thats like saying Diesel cars are better than petrol.. to some people this is true, to others it is not..

Yes apple computers are more expensive than other computer. Because Apple is a good company and always make very good products. And its every product become successful and doesn’t face any problem very soon. I also like apples products.

Hi kingparker: We have to admit it: Apple leads the computer industry in quality and reliability. It gives excellent performance over a long period of time. Apple is to BMW as the comparisons goes.

I don't think you need to buy an expensive apple computer because of the name. I think i'd go for cheaper laptops like asus, acer or hp because they all have the same features, apple is just an expensive brand of computer because it has it's name on the top list for how many years now.
