How often do you clean your fridge?

I clean my mine each time I bring in my loads of grocery so that it does not pile up with gunk. I suppose it is a matter of preference, but I can certainly remember in my past having guests over and opening my fridge and OMG, how embarrassing that was.

I don't clean my fridge as often as I should, because it's one of my pet hates. I'm one of those people who think that a job worth doing is worth doing well - or not at all; so, to be able to clean the fridge thoroughly, everything has to come out of it and be cleaned before it goes back. Every shelf has to come out and every corner and crease has to be thoroughly cleaned. As a result, it takes forever! However, there is one other job that I hate more - cleaning the oven; I usually leave that to hubby!

i have a very old refrigerator. i have to defrost it by hand at least every 4 months. i am then able to go over the shelves with white vinegar and put a fresh box of baking soda in freezer and below. i spot clean it otherwise with windex.

You know,I'd rather clean my windows or even my toilet than to clean out my fridge.. Partly due to my husband's forgotten food that is either smelly,slimy,moldy or all of the above. But with a new fridge, I guess I should maybe at least try to sort it out once a week to make sure nothing yucky was left and then a better cleaning once a month..

I think that it should be done weekly. You can just kind of throw the items out that you don't need and wipe it down. I try to this often.

I usually clean out the fridge at least once a week, and when I have brought home some groceries. Sometimes, it gets cleaned out a little more than that, and sometimes a little less. I will do a through cleaning, where I wash down shelving, take out the compartments and submerse in water, once a month. If I didn't it would be a sticky mess!

I dont clean my fridge as often as I should honestly. I so a thorough cleaning when I see that after a while its getting grimy but mainly I just do spot cleaning such as if I notice a spill in there I clean it up. It doesnt take to long for the fridge to get dirty. When you put in a gallon of milk or a carton of juice the bottoms arent always clean and it will leave residue where its placed in the fridge. I tend to clean a lot of those spots up. Thats pretty much where it gets the dirties.

I try to keep it pretty clean. I empty stuff out about once a week. I give it a good thorough wipe out about 2 times a month.

well i dont do it.. my mom does it. and i have noticed that she does every month too. because Fridges starts to spread smell and that is very bad. so she does it every month in order to prevent that smell in it.
