Be a blessing to others this day : Give them your sweetest smile

Good morning (and good evening) to myLotters. Just found an old discussion here in myLot, it was asking myLotters how much do they smile in a day.
I realized that humans do not really smile a lot. Why not? It's free and it is contagious, and it will be a blessing to others. Try it, I just did - I went out and saw this big dog. I gave it my sweetest smile and, surprise, surprise - it smiled back. No kidding. (Or, am I just imagining things, it must be the smile my neighbor just gave me).

Wow, you are some ghost. I'm beginning to think that your real name is Casper, the (always)smiling ghost.
Anyway, welcome to myLot, ghostflower. I'll be smiling a lot for you.

Hi pinoycity!
Can't remember where I've read it. But it says that it's easier to smile than to frown because it takes less muscles to do so. But sometimes we forget to do so and instead choose to frown. So this post should remind us to smile more. And it's always good to remind because we often forget.
And for the smiles we put on we never become the less richer to give one of ours.

Hi tomitomi! Nice information.
But, reading and thinking about what you've written, I know its weird, but if it takes more muscle or energy to frown, shouldn't it be healthier for us? No, just kidding. Of course not.
Must be that dog's smile. And the moon.

I guess when we frown more our face would soon adopt the 'sagging' look. That's outwardly. And what about the chemicals we produce in our bodies when we feel angry or sad or anything negative. Something small though but wouldn't be good in the long run. We do sometimes therefore it's nice to be reminded of the ill effects.

A smile can change another persons mood.. I don't always smile to others especially when i don't really know the person..of course they might think im crazy if i keep on smiling while walking alone. I have passed by a lot of people whom i really don't know that smiles at me..and i really find the smile so genuine and true. I on the other hand is not in the mood from a busy day was frowning on all the people and things i see. But when i see these people smiling genuinely at me my mood would really change and then i smile back.

Yes, smiles can change moods. I am fortunate to have lots of people who readily give their sweet smile to me. Lucky me.

Happy myLotting too abj. Yeah, it is difficult to smile if you are carrying something inside. Just hope someone will give their sweetest smile to you to lighten up your day.

"Smile and the world will smile at you"...as the saying goes and it is quite true. A smile begets a smile...a simple smile can brighten another person's day. Smile and spread the good vibes besides smiling won't cost you a thing. Wouldn't it feel better of a person smiles at you rather than being frowned at? So today I will follow your lead...let's smile, smile and smile and make this day a beautiful day.LOL
Nat king Cole even sang... "Smile though your heart aching, smile even though its breaking. When there are clouds in the sky, you'll get by if you smile through your fear and sorrow, smile and maybe tomorrow you'll see the sun come shining through for you...." Have a nice day and happy myLotting pinoycity! :D

That's the thing : a smile won't cost you a thing. You wonder why humans don't smile too often. Well, I must admit that I, too, am often guilty of not smiling enough. Silly me.

hello to all. i'm a newbie. but while browsing i came across this discussion and it made me smile. i smile when i think about all the wonderful memories i have with my love ones. i smile when i see someone i know. most people nowadays tend to live in a world of their own by being busy.
