My father has so many vices but he is more addicted to cigarette and alcohol. He consume almost 30 sticks of cigarette a day.when it comes to alcohol, he drink a lot even early in the morning. I'm so worried for his health because he was hospitalized the recent year but now he return again to his vices.
How about you,do you have the same problem with mine??

My grandfather started to smoke lot and drink after he lost his wife(my grandmother). People often need something to hold to it when they feel pain. I am afraid that you cannot do much if he really decided to live that way. It might sound cruel but I would suggest you stop worry because you will ruin your life too and accept he is an adult who made his decision. I hope he starts thinking about how you feel and the importance of keeping himself alive longer.

My dad drinks a lot before just like your dad..fortunately after my dad has been hospitalized twice for two consecutive years he has stopped the vice and came back to being faithful to God. Although he still doesn't listen to us when he tell him not to eat the foods that's not good for him. All of us are really worried about his health..

My dad doesn't drink, and I hope he quit smoking. Recently he's had a surgery, and we were alarmed because the initial findings of the doctors were bad. But, he seems to be healing well now. Nevertheless, I still worry about his health. He's not as young as he used to, and people's health gets bad just because of aging. I hope you could help your dad quit or at least lessen his vices. Every stick that he smokes costs him 30 minutes of his life (that's what they say).
