why people are not contented?

there are crimes and troubles in the world because of non-contentment of most people. those who are seated in the government became corrupt because they are not contented in what they have. they want more things especially money. they have a lot of it but still they want more. well i should say "we" and not "they". there are people who only wanted a little bit of something but those who have more than enough wants even more. i think most people them to be the only one who are rich. why it is so hard to share our blessings to others? but of course there are others who do not forget the less fortunate people. i admire them and i also want to be a blessing to other people! :D

Contentment? Being an individual we have lots of needs in life, in my part being a young adult I still have lots of wants in my life that's why I'm not yet contented with what I have now, I still have to strive hard to achieve the what we call contentment. One of this is to finish my degree maybe by that time a little bit of contentment. :)

I think the more you have the more you want until you loose something precious to you and then you will start to think differently and start to appreciate the things that you do have. I think that a lot of times it is a case of the grass is always greener on the other side.
You should feel sorry for the people that dont appreciate what they have for they will never be happy till they learn differently

This is the question which i asked myself several times.
I agree with most of people's opinions here,but on the other hand,because so many poople they are not contented with their present so that they never stop to strive for their goals and their life is getting better and better..
Every coins has two sides.Every one has his/her lifestyle..just try to make life simple and happy..that is enough.

The reason is very simple: people always have unlimited desires, which is the nature of human beings. The growth of fortune is always unable to catch up with the expand of desire. So even if a person has already had a lot of money, he still wish to have more. Many negative phenomena result from such nature of human beings. The essential way is to change this nature, but it seems impossible in the near future. What we could do at present is to establish effective system to prevent people from converting their unlimited desire to conduct.
