Nuts about nuts

I love snacking on seeds and nuts. My current favorites are pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, roasted cashew nuts and walnuts. They're packed with nutrients, and are better alternatives to chips. I still haven't given up entirely on junk food, or on other bad eating habits, for that matter, but eventually, my goal is to eat healthy. Do you add seeds and nuts to your diet? What are other better snack alternatives you know of?

Hi there! I also love nuts particularly the roasted pili nuts from Bicol. I don't eat the sweetened ones obviously because of the calories. obviously the roasted pili nuts are more healthy. I usually order every month from a friend who lives. Try it! Aside from pili, I also love peanuts. Before I go to my masteral class, there's this kiosk outside my college which sells the most delicious peanuts, and I would bring some to class, to the dismay of my professor LOL.

Pili nuts! I love pili nuts, too. Maybe you could share me some of that good stuff? Sometimes it's good to indulge in the sweetened kind. As to your professor and your peanut, maybe you should share the peanuts with him (her). I also like peanuts, especially boiled peanuts. Thanks for the response!

I like sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds too.The latter can kill roundworm.

hi glory!...yup! nuts is one of my diet before bedtime, 30min. before i go to bed i have 3-4 tbsp. serving of mixed nuts and 125 grams of yogurt...research show that mixed nuts plus yogurt helps your body to relieve stress and boost our energy when we wake up in the morning...

Cool...I usually eat my nuts and seeds in the daytime. Maybe I'll try it before bedtime so I'll feel good in the morning. Great suggestion, thanks!
Oh, and yes, I love yogurt, too. Especially frozen yogurt with nuts and fruits!

I love eating nuts too. I enjoy eating a variety of nuts such as peanuts, cashew nuts, almonds etc whenever I feel like snacking.
Other healthy snack alternatives I believe is fruits. I usually eat practical fruits (fruits that require no/easy peeling) such as bananas, oranges, apples etc as snacks. I also enjoy eating/drinking lots of yoghurt because it tastes good and has a lot of health benefits

Oh, yes, fruits. I love 'em. I eat fruits everyday. My staples are apples, grapes and oranges. They're great with the nuts! And with yogurt, too. I love frozen yogurt. Can't get enough of them. Thanks for the response!
