The year is about to end and I have some pending goals that I would like to accomplish before the year ends. My first goal before the year ends was to buy a new DSLR which I would be doing next week. My next goal was to loose the last couple of pounds to reach my ideal weight which is 72 kg. Although I have already lost 6 kg I still have 6 more kilos to lose before the year ends. My next goal is to go on a vacation for at least a week and maybe test out my new camera. I will be doing this next month. My last goal for this year is to invest most of my bonus in a new time deposit account or in a trust fund. How about you? what are your year end goals?

Oh wow, you're right about the year almost ending. We're on the last quarter and before you know it, 2010 will give way to 2011.
I have several goals that I wish to accomplish before this happens. The first one would be Better Personal Finance Management. I hate living from paycheck to paycheck. But this is what's been happening to me for the past few months already. I admit it's my fault. I'm an impulsive buyer and I have a shoe addiction. So a majority of my money is going to things that I really don't need at this time. I've decided that enough is enough. I'm sorting through my finances and I'm on step 1, which is all about expense tracking. As soon as I finish this phase, then I'll be moving on to creating a budget. I'm actually very excited about it. ^.^
The second one is to establish a firm yoga routine in my everyday life. I have scoliosis and there's really not much options available for me exercise wise. But I still have to do physical activity. Not for weight management, but just for the fact that exercising makes me happy. ^.^ I have a very busy schedule at work, and there are days that I can't do my yoga routine anymore. So I'm trying to establish a pretty firm schedule that I can follow for the rest of my life.
That's about it mostly. :)

stellar126, I have been there but also managed to take my finances into my own hands so that I control them really well. So you should know that it is possible, even if it might seem hard at first.
Making a budget and also tracking your expenses for a while will help tremendously, so you are doing the right thing already.
There are tons of free online blogs and other resources you can read in order to get on track with a better financial plan, I highly recommend reading some blogs about personal finance to get some ideas.
Good luck, you can do it!!

Hi puccagirl! Thanks for the encouragement! :) I need that from time to time since I'm finding this goal a little bit dreary sometimes. :(
I have been reading a lot about personal finances online. And you're right about blogs being helpful. Aside from that, I've also been checking out msn money and it has given me some very helpful ideas on how to get on track!

Gosh, I have so many plans on my mind, and it seems that nothing I had accomplished this year. I don't know, maybe I am too lazy, and I didn't do a thing about it. I just hate that I am so incompetent of many things. I wish to pay off my debt; to go on a vacation, and lose a few pounds from my body fat too.

I have a lot of goals to be finished within this year. 2010 is near to end so I grab any opportunity to accomplish my goals. First thing I did was to went here abroad and it was done. My purpose is to earn more money to add capital on my business and I already did. So far, my business who is run by my wife now is in good condition and hoping to have an expansion with my business in another town. Although I start with small capital and now the it become bigger. I hope I can go home this year because I miss all my family.

My goals are to first, pay off some bills. If everyone in my household cooperates with me, this will be done in about 9 weeks.
Second, I want to get my house completely organized and get rid of things that are unneccesary and unwanted. THis should be fairly simple to do because I have already done a lot of it.
Third, I plan to lose more weight and start the new year out healthier. This is difficult for me, not because I lack motivation, but because I have a busy schedule and it is hard for me to find time to really exercise.

my goal is to finish reading " war and peace" by Tolstoy till the end of the year. the classic is full of characters and it is very difficult to remember each and every character( there are about 500 characters in this book)( a rough idea).
but i will try my best to accomplish this

Congratulations to your new camera (in advance!). Really is exciting to have them finally, after months and months of saving money for them.
Anyway, my year end goals probably will be the following: To have a job!- I'm currently unemployed right now and still looking for a job. I hope and I pray that before the year end (or even the month ends) I get myself a job.; To invest to another type of business- if ever I get myself a job, some of my income probably will put into savings and think of new investment... I'm thinking of online buy and sell.; Book a trip to HongKong!- my husband and I been planning this trip since our honeymoon, as soon as I get myself a job my first paycheck will sure go to buy a ticket.
Actually, I have alot of things in my mind. But I guess, not all of them can be accommodate this year... For sure some of them will be manifest next year!

I have a savings goal that I am hoping to reach. I think I should be able to do it, but you never know. Unforeseen expenses could show up etc. But for now, I am right on track and my savings account will probably be where I want it to be by the end of the year.
I also set a goal for myself to increase my online earnings by a certain amount each month. Since I have not had enough time to put into my online earnings projects, I am not doing quite as well as I thought I would though. But if I find myself with some more free time, that could still change!

Hi Andyvil! Yeah I remember about your plan of buying DSLR. Wow, so your finally getting it next week. I'm happy for you.
Yup, your right only 2 more months to go before the end of the year. How time flies. My goal was too flatten my tummy, haha, and I did. I finally found the diet that's best for me. Before, I would eat less rice and more meat but it didn't work. When I was watching Survivor Philippines I realized that Survivors who eat only rice and seafood don't even gain a pound. So I made a switched. Now, I eat rice and only seafood/chicken. I took out pork & beef on my diet. It works!
And my last goal for the year is also to invest. Good luck!
