If you were to be a doctor, what kind would you be?
A practitioner? A pediatrician? A plastic surgeon? A specialist of some sort?
I'm a bit of a squamish person, so I'm not sure what kind of doctor I'd want to be...definitely not anything that involves surgery.
I might be a pediatrician because I'm pretty good with kids, but I'd still feel bad for giving them shots and making them cry.

I think that I would want to be an ER doctor. I like a lot of excitement and I think that would give me plenty. Plus I would be less likely to get to know the patients so it would be easier to deal with on a personal level. Plus they save a lot of lives and that has got to have its rewards. My second choice would be to be a pediatrician. Actually the pediatrician doesn't do the mean things like shots at least ours doesn't, he makes his nursed do that dirty work.

I am a nurse by profession but if i were to choose what kind of doctor i would be or my specialized field would be, it would be a pediatrician. Because i know that i will be receiving a lot of Physician fee for that field. Most parents really want to have their babies checked and immunized every month at every 3months. So i know i won't have to worry if i have clients or not :D And i am also good at handling kids..

I'd be a vet. I'd probably lose my licence though because I would tell stupid owners to wake up to themselves and I would report all cases of cruelty or neglect with a vengeance. I would also be a basket case because I hate when animals are abused, injured or in pain.

if i would be a pediatrician doctor because you can work for fixed hours and you have not to deal with blood generally as in an ot (operation theater) and earn mainly in the opd.
but i am sorry, i am in a completely opposite line. i am an electronics engineer and actually i hate biology in school but was very good in maths so opted to be a engineer but we can make our mind wander anytime.

I'd wouldn't be a pediatrician because I don't want to hurt children or see sick children all the time. Also not a surgeon because it is pretty gross. Maybe some sort of an interesting specialist. Psychiatrists are doctors too, so probably a psychiatrist.

I don't know if this is technically a doctor, but I'd pick to be a physical or occupational therapist. I wouldn't want to be a general physician because I don't really like having to socialize with or touch so many people all the time. Being a PT or OT, I'd have to do some talking & touching but I don't think it's as much.

If I have the choice, and if I can make it, I would like to become a radiologist. That has been an attraction to me , since radiology is a field which reads all the details in the physical body, and will help doctors, surgeons and physicians, to do the right thing.

A doctor huh? Didn't really suit me. I am scared of needles, can't stand the smell of medicine and freak out to cut open a living people. But if I did somehow in alternate universe become one, I think I'll become a vet (is vet a doctor? doctor for animal is a doctor right?). I love animals. It would be awesome if I could help them.

Choosing to be a doctor would be a way of giving back to the world. i would want to be a cardiologist. Helping people with heart related problems would be a great way to work in the medical field. Every life is precious. If i could do something to help someone live a little longer and a little happier, i would have achieved success.

If i could be a doctor, sure I will prefer to be a pediatrician. I love the way they bring smiles in the faces of kids and their parents. These young creatures become helpless when they are sick . I'm really amazed by the works of these pediatrician who take care of these small ones and get them alright.

I also would like to be an ER or trauma doctor. Mainly because everything happens so fast in the ER. Maybe it's just my thinking, but it seems like there's never a dull moment in the ER. Aside from that, I also like that after that initial treatment in the ER, you can just pass them off to another doctor. :p

It depends on the person. If I were asked so, then would like to become a urologist. I would have chosen this as I had seen my father suffer with Kidney problems. Moreover, when I was at the hospital with my doctor, have seen many patients suffering with Kidney issues. Just think over and ask your mind and you will get an answer.

If I was to be a doctor maybe I would be an ophtalmologist. I had a nasty problems with one of my eyes years ago and I learned how precious is the vision. And the ophtalmology is a very interesting medical branch.
