It is possible "one night stand" versus "long term relationship"

I always wonder how guys classify girls into main categories: Girls that are good for just one night stand and the girls for the long term serious relationship. Like based on what do they make up their minds and judge the girl? What are the characteristics that a girl should have to be classified as a potential girlfriend and not just random one night stand ever lead to a serious relationship or it will always be a one night stand???

No I don't think that one night stand will be a long term relationship. I think nobody can believe on a person in only one night. It doesn't mean that you stay with someone for one night and you can be in any relationship forever. I think some kind of relationship always needs time.

hi anurag3786, thank for the comment maybe you're right that if we choose to love a person we should know them better in enough time to know who really they are... maybe one night stand is just satisfaction of oneself only..

ehmm in my opinion, i will not classify girls that way. bcs i think we do long term relationship when you feel that you both want to be with one another. even though it was started from one night stand. if you really want to know, why dont you ask the girl before you two had the intimate moments? it's like having agreement in business. you can not force anyone to do what you want while he/she doesnt want to do it, right?

Very frankly speaking I need one night stand girls in my life till I get married because they can give more sexually satisfaction but to get married I need a long term relation type girl,If you want to know who is one night stand type and who is for long term it can be easily judge from there behaviour

We can't say that 1 night stand can't be lead to a serious relationship although I haven't heard of it before that 1 night stand leads to a serious relationship. I guess it depends on both parties. If in that night both of them feel something that they're looking for, maybe they'll decide to make it for serious type of relationship. We never know what lies ahead right, so we can never say that it may never lead to a serious relationship. But sometimes people choose to go for a 1 night stand to avoid conflict, commitment or any responsibilities. As long as they "express" their humanly needs they're ok. They don't bother to pay any attention to it anymore.
