I am still happy and contented with my parents house so I guess I would consider buying a car rather than a house.

I think it depends on the situation. For your case you are already contented with the house you're living in, so buying a car generally looks better as an option. For me, im not quite contented with our house so if given a chance I would buy a house first.

Needless to say, I will buy a house at first. When you buy a car, its value just keeps going down. On the contrary, if you buy a house, usually its price keeps increasing. Especially today the house is crazy expensive here. And it seems its prize is just going up. And the house is one of the basic needs in life. So I will choose to buy a house at first. I love China

we can resume thsi choice considering that a car is much more cheaper and so easy to buy than an house also because for this one you need a big investment!!Anyway if i must choose i prefer house because it will have a good value even in time on the contrary the car its value will decrease in time!!

Mum and dad promised that I'm getting the house. And they've paid the mortgage off. So, I guess, I'm buying a car.

Dad bought me a car already. So, I guess I'll buy a house for myself since it has been my dream since I was a kid to own a house that I bought with my own money :)

For me i would plan and have the business first,if the business will be successful buying a house and a car is just easy. But i will choose to buy house first because it is a necessity while car is just a possession that is the last i will buy.

Some months ago, it was a car I was considering. I already own a pick up truck so I don't really need another vehicle but I thought a nice 4 door coupe would be good. Now I'm reconsidering the idea and am leaning more toward a new house. First of all the market right now is very good for the buyer. Secondly, I believe it's easier to buy a home than a car, for whatever reason. And third: I live in an apartment. It's quite nice and comfortable but I've adopted a brood of kitty cats. I think it's time for a bigger home for me and my roommies.

I prefer to buy a house, because now, I do not have a home. I am still living in rented house. If I could buy a house, I do not have to think about money contract.

Hi Cherry, I'd love to be able to buy both :P but since you asked whether car or a house first then I would do it like this: Buying a house is far more expensive than buying a car. So If I have money and I'm about to reach the amount which I can afford to buy a house then I will keep the money to use to buy a house. I choose house first because I love having privacy from my family most of the time lol. I don't really know if I actually want to buy a car because it is not really one of my dream, but if I can afford it after I got my house then yes, why not? I will buy it after that.

I would prefer to buy a house first before a car. A house & lot builds wealth, that is it appreciates in value while a car depreciates. You can not sell your car at a value more than what you initially paid for, unlike a house. You can have income when you sell it. Besides, it is a wise investment. Since you have your parents house, why not invest in a house then have it rented. Then you can use the rentals in buying your own car. Invest while you're still young. Your expenses would increase once you have your own family, and by that time you might not even have enough money to buy a house.

I prefer buying a house & lot for my parents than buying a car. We are not living in our own house for some confidential reason, so I want to buy a house which will be own by my parents, for some shelter.

It depends on how much is your budget. Buying a house is 20 times more than buying a car. If you have sufficient money then better invest in buying a house. Older the house/land its price value increases and for a car it works the opposite.

hi cherryamor! i would prefer to have a car., since you have mentioned that your sill happy with your parents house. buying a car have an advantages, if you have it you can travel anywhere, you can travel with your parents too. they would be very much happy if you would do that. take them to a place that is so relaxing, good scenery, atmosphere and environment. for that, you and your family can share good memories with you having a car. so treasure the moments that you will spend with your parents and with your brand new car. :)

Your question is very much depends on personal needs. In some places, car has become a necessity rather than optional. For eg, if you're living in a place without any public transport, or depends on car to carry out your daily work (such as sales, delivery, etc). Then you should really opt to buy a car first. Else, if car is not an necessity for you, better go for a house. Car is an liability while house is an asset. If not necessary, dont buy a car.
