I met my husband the first day of college. We were in a group called connections together. This program put us in the same gen ed classes and that way we could form study groups together. We were friends for over a year before we started dating. We dated 3 years, and then got engaged right around graduation. We married a year later and have been together ever since.

I met my late husband when we were both working for the same person. I was interested in him and he was interested in me. We were both just a little too shy to approach each other. our employer is the one who brought us together. We had many happy years together. i am thankful and will always cherish my memories of him.

I met my husband in a weird way. It was actually through a mutual friend which I had met in a chat room and started a friendship with. I was getting out of a rocky relationship and I had just figured out my ex was going to be a father from the girl he slept with while together with me. Me and my ex worked together at the time and I just needed to vent to someone. So I called my friend to 'vent' and he told me he was busy playing a video game and to call back. So I waited a few hours and called back later that night and he was still busy, I started to tell him what I wanted to talk about and he handed the phone to a friend of his who was there saying he has more experience in relationship issues and to talk it out with him. I didn't care at this point and wanted to talk to anyone so I started dishing my story to this total stranger. He had some good advice and talked me down from being so pissed and eventually said I was better off without the guy. Then we just started talking about random things and we ended up talking all night long into the next day...February 14, 2001. A few days later we had met face to face and I had given him a valentines as a thank you for helping me with my problems. A few months later, due to issues with me, him and the mutual friend we had, we finally got together and got married a year later.

I met my husband at school during our college days. We are actually classmates until we finish our college. From classmates, to lovers, and then turned colleague, a workmate and finally a lifetime partner. We’ve been steady for 8 years before we get married, this coming December will mark our 2nd year of marriage, and will also open our journey to parenthood.

I met my wife in school. She is my classmate during college, we worked in the same company when we finish our studies in my home town. And when we decided to work overseas, luckily we worked again in the same company. After 8 years we got married. Now we are expected parents this year. By the way, we're currently in the same company right now. God wants us to be together forever and ever.

Hi,
Such a loving story to share with us here in MyLot.
I first met my husband during my university level, he is actually
one of my friend chatmate and we met up together for a movie.
We went out twice, not only 2 of us,but together with my friend.
But at that point of time, no chemistry is created and we just
lost contact after that twice meet-up.
Once a while, I still did receive his forward emails and there was once
I emailed him just to say 'hi' and see what is he doing now.
Oh..I got his reply and that was the starting of our friendship.
Exchanging our phone number and he started to give me a call one day.
Such a suprise that he will call me up and we have a simple chat over the
phone. After chatting for few times over the phone, he asked me out for a movie
and since it was weekend and I only worked half-day,so we went for a movie
and this time , only 2 of us watching the movie.Nothing special. After the movie
ended, we went for dinner and we went back home.
He also never sent me home and we were on different direction while went back home.
As time flies by, he called me up more often and started to date me out,and
I did agree to his date.
Slowly, I could sense that he may have some feeling for me and there was a night where he called me up and I told him that I feel bit hungry. And he really
came to my house for my supper, it was late at night and I was so suprised when
he called me and told me ,he was at the deck of my house. On that night, I knew
something is not right and he must have falling in love with me.
Yes.....he expressed out his feeling to me ONE DAY by telling me " he miss me alot",...I was silent and not sure what to reply.
After being a good friend for about a year, only then I accepted him as my boyfriend and now, we are married with one kid.

It's a shame that your first marriage with the first husband only last for 5 years, but then sounds like you are having a good life with the second at the moment. Yes, there are so much ups and downs in life, relationship, and marriage, but it is always depends on how we actually handle the situation.
I'm about to get married soon and I have been with my fiance for 5 years now. I met him when we went for an expedition, mountain climbing, jungle trekking, and diving. He did not have any experience at all on how to live in the jungle that time, and I was more experienced than him because I live in a village. He is a tall guy so I always asked for his help when I have to tie up something at the high place and things like that. And at the same time I always help him to put his hammock on. There was one time I let him do it all by himself, and when we went to sleep at 8 in the night, he actually fell over with his hammock after being there for 2 minutes. I was laughing while he was so annoyed and sad.
So we became a best friend, always do things together and we helped each other a lot until we decided to go further in a relationship.

I remember 7 years ago when I meet a person who work as DJ in one of FM radio station in our locality and we became friends. Everytime on his programs I tune in to the station and I miscalled his mobile and he will greet me on air until such time that one of the listener ask a mobile number him because she wants to have a friend even started on mobile texting and calling. Well, my friend DJ give my number and the girl called me, day passed we became close and we meet. We have a dinner and it was repeated every week.
We build a good relationship with her within in 3 years. I am closed to her family and friends until we decided to settle down this year on February this year. After a month I left her because I am hired for a work abroad. Frankly speaking I missed here so much.
