Despite logical and rational answers provided by science people still adopt to meaningless, painful rituals and superstitions which even god might not accept.
So we cant change the beliefs of everyone so to what extent do you believe in superstitions and stuff?
We can find instances of black magic and people who practice it still prevalent in many parts of India.
Skulls, fire, chants, hymns, lemons, people reacting wildly.these are the few pictures in our mind thinking about black magic.
So does black magic really work? or is it just that people do it make money from people who still believe in it?
I frankly am confused

Hi there friends , in this world is no one of the name black and white magic , its only the person who has one the magic is make it white or black magic self .. if he or she want get vengeance to his or she enemy line coz that some one take break heart of another person or the force not get in to cougth the crime man .. but of ritual its just for come some demon for it or just for they wanted but its still has some sacrifice like a chiken or anything else what the demon wanted for it .. that is what i think

Ya i think black magic works because of some man who strongly believed it to work.and finally when it worked the belief expanded ever the more

Yes, it is powerful, as I had experienced those power of rituals. Here in India there is lots of rituals, black magic and various other things. Moreover Hinduism is full of mantras which could even change whole world if done in the proper way. It is really dangerous if not used properly.

But how can you simply put faith into it with logical explanation,i too am afraid but i want an explanation.
You might have seen people acting as wildly as if demon spirits have taken over their body during rituals but this could have also been caused due to inhaling some chemical present in front of thrm

I don't really believe in superstitions, black magic, religions, etc. They're mostly made up by human ignorance, and to control other's minds using fear as a weapon.
Everyone is free to believe in whatever they want to, might it be a curse, black magic or any random god, but I'm not in that train, and I don't buy all that superstitious stuff.

I like magic but i dont really believe in it =) maybe its just a way of your mind to express it's imagination, you know the mind lets you see what you want to see, its a way of the mind to make you satisfied and battle out stress, but sometimes it's not really a good thing
Superstitions I don't really like it, especially in the elder people, they let those thoughts overcome their will, makes people lose confidence in themselves instead staying safe doing nothing. Kinda sucks because it doesnt really have any scientific explanations whatsoever
Rituals I think is done to satisfy oneself, i don't think it works really it's just all in the mind of the person doing it and what he/she believes in

I dont know if I believe magic works or not. I'd rather not dabble in it to find out. I dont believe in superstitions though. Just because a black cat crosses my path or I break a mirror does not mean that I will really have bad luck. I dont know how each sperstition came to be but I just shrug things off and dont let it cause me to worry.

i'm a rationalist type of person and don't believe in such stuff. i like to look and see what the studies say and analyze the data on issues. i prefer to see topics that show results after years of research from several different studies on the same topic in order to verify the results the best one can. this way alot of doubts are cast aside and singled out and one is left with a very positive conclusion whether something is true or not.

i think that if the person believes that it'll work then it will,it's all about mind over matter, although saying that some herbs do actually work for reliving symtoms of certain things, but magic potions i reckon is all i the mind of the recipient

I do not believe in bizarre rituals and black magic.Superstition,i feel we inadvertently fall a prey to.Though rationalists will debunk all three in equal measure. There was a program on T.V. wherein a rationalist(who is a psychiatrist)from
Sri Lanka openly asked all those who believe in rituals, superstitions and black magic to do their damnedest in front of live T.V. for an hour,it was open for viewing for all and at the end of the hour he came out unscathed proving that if our mind is strong and rational this is just hocus pocus. It all depends on the mental strength of a person.

I've been told about black magic that there is no evidence because its all very secretive. But on the other hand these same people seem to know an awful lot about witch practices, black magic and how it works. Seems like conflicting data. Does every witch have like the same belief or is it all just a bunch of conflicting material.

This my friend is an area I do not explore. I do not exactly if it is true and or exists, what I do believe in is that evil exists and people utilize it to harm others. Sometimes I think that if you invest some faith into black magic not so much that it will be powerful, but the beliefs behind it is powerful.
I believe in God and as long as I do I do not believe black magic can hurt me.

If you ask me then i will defimitely say NO, i don't belive in black magic and other related things at all. These are just stories of people or some tricks that black magitians do. Things like that are very popular in my country and many people here have belief in them but i really don't believe in them at all.
