I cant believe i am writing this :D Today, a few hours ago i wrote in facebook.com games discussion that in my opinion most of those games are stupid time eaters. But the funniest part here is that right after that i fell into one of facebook.com games free hugs.
One of my facebook.com friends sent to me an invitation to help him get some game bonuses i this time i accepted his offer. And you know what - i am playing this game last two hours and getting more and more into it. Game is called Kingdoms of Camelot. For me its nothing new, the game is allmost one to one as webbrowser game Evony.com. But still Kingdom of camelot is easy to play, musch faster than Evony and its no need to go to specific homepage, i can play game directly in my facebook.com account.

I was addicted to facebook games too. I have a bunch games in my apps list. You will find some of the most popular games before like farmville and mafia wars. But right now, I rarely visit those games. I'm busy now with work and making money online.

So, what you will do with all your money you will earn? I hope you will not spent it on buying gifts, user packages and bonuses for facebook games later :D

I used to play many addictive games on Facebook when I first time joined and opened an account. But they do really take away your attention a lot, and sometimes the time that I supposed to be working in the office will be used for all those games.
But since I started trying to earn extra money online, I ignored all of them. I never spend any time playing games on Facebook anymore. If I really want to play games whenever I'm bored then I will go to zylom or ninjakiwi.

It would be nice if there would be website similar to myLot, but with exeption, that they could pay for playing games like facebook games.
I have sometimes idea to createw such a website, but it takes a lot of time, investments and energy.

At first It's fun playing facebook games like farmville but eventually as the farm gets bigger the task is taking too long. At a certain point the games boring since it is a routine type of game, plant crops and harvest. plant crops and harvest. plant crops and harvest. Repeatitive.

Haha, just another example of a situation where we have to eat our own words eh? But yeah, I do agree that Facebook games can be really addictive. I am currently playing a myriad of games on Facebook, but the one I devote most of my time to is Castle Age. I used to ignore this game because it was loading too slowly, but after I found out it was so fun and addicting, the loading issue was a no-issue at all! In fact, I even play Facebook games while I am busy at work.....guess that goes to show how much Facebook has influenced our lives.....hmmmm.....

I love Facebook games too! They're just so addictive and fun, however I agree on the fact that they are time wasters. My favourite games are Restaurant City and Pet Society. I'm totally addicted to restaurant city and I have to check it every time I log on to facebook. Sigh, I know I'm wasting my time but I just can't quit the game :X
good day to you :)

I think the more longer you play the harder it is to quit the game for all. its like in life, when you earn some prestige and other things its hard to quit and start all from zero.

I tried that game but it seemed very similar to a lot of other games on facebook and online in general. I will admit I usually play facebook games for about a week and I think I am gonna play it forever, but then I quit after a week or two. They usually get repetitive. Really the only two I still play are a poker game and a risk type game called ATTACK!

it is very hard to create absolute new, game, since there is so much games developers and mostly they make games which will be popular among its users. Thats how games marketing works.

I am also addicted to Facebook games.
Especially Farmville and Treasure Isles
These could be stupid games but you know they are great stress busters.
I forget about my tensions and worries for time being while playing these games.

Now you described thing about which i could never think when talking about facebook games! We always talking a lot about them as huge time eaters, but we never talk for facebook games as relaxing, stress lowering stuff. Thanks for awesome idea.

They are terribly addictive. I will lose a whole afternoon and not even realize it. Mafia Wars is not as bad as it use to be, but I can stay there for awhile. I've started playing ESPNU College Town and it is driving me crazy.

I am currently addicted to ESPNU College Town, seriously addicted! I'll have to try out Kingdoms of Camelot, once I get tired of college town though, it sounds fun. I even reactivated my facebook (I had previously deactivated it) just because my friend was playing it and it looked fun.

Isnt that easier to just block those games you dont want to play anymore rather than just disactivate whole facebook account mate? :)

I have seen many people totally and ridiculously addicted to these games. I think it's silly. But I guess if people have to waste their time it's not the worst way of doing it. And these people have a tendency to be lazy and waste a lot of time anyway. So I think the people that get stuck in those games would get stuck in something else if the games weren't there. So I'd just let them be, it doesn't hurt anybody.

I like what you say and agree with most. We latvians have nice proverb - each makes his own luck. The same with facebook games. there are so totally different people on facebook that there is no one correct solution for everything.

yeah it does eats up time and tends you to forget some tasks you have to do, but on the positive side it's a good way to relieve stress and sometimes have fun with some of your distant friends. When you play it in a long time though it gets boring especially when no one in your friend circle play anymore.
I'm currently playing Nightclub City, Car Town and Backyard monsters =)

I never ever heard of your played games in Facebook, that's maybe because most of my friends there are addicted to farmwille, mafia wars and soem other most popular ones.
I by myself just got lvl7 at kingdoms of camelot. its a strategy game and those i like better than action, adventures etc.. games.

I think we all would like to hear which games do you play yourself and which of them are not so lame as facebook games? I am playing mostly PC games - battlefield 2, mount & blade and many others.
