In my case it's really help a lot. Part of my earnings we save for the future and mainly of it I added as additional capital for our small business in my country. My next move is to help my siblings and relatives who also faces financial problem. How about you even you are not working abroad you help also financial problem with your family?

Definitely it does help if curreny conversion is positive. In my case $1 is near to 50 rupee which is 45-50 times and if I earn some $ and convert it to my currency, that is too good.

Many people look out for better opportunities for making more money and thereby making their life easier. That includes going abroad to a different country too, and some of them do succeed.
When you think to work abroad, the financial benefits are more important. Those who look out for money only, feel it better to go and settle for work in countries whose conversion amount / currency rates are higher than those in their actual country.
However a few of the people who settle outside their own country take this decision because of the better opportunities available there - maybe better health care, or better work opportunities and also at times they are less paid.
But most of them forget that when you are in a different country you would be earning their currency no doubt but the most of your earnings would be spent in those countries too.

Many people think that they will find green pasture outside their own country of residence. I am one of them now after I decided to go abroad because of financial crisis I experience last year. Well, I am convince that to go abroad will solve on it. I save now some of my salary for the future of my family. I am lucky that the currency where I am working now is higher that my country so the exchange rate is better.

Oh yes, I forgot, these days using the internet I can work for people in foreign countries and so the money that I earn would really be beneficial as I would be spending the entire amount in my own country. So I do not think I would go abroad and work there. I would prefer working for them from here and save the income.

I'm so sorry to hear that my friend. Just only now I heard your sad story my friend. Anyway, money is not important for being happy, as long as you are with your family even you felt bitterness still you have the reason to be happy. Two purpose why I am working abroad, not mainly because of money it's my eagerness to try living my country and experience what is the life of other country. I want to go home now but according to our HR I can't because I have a contract with them of two years before I can go. I can't stay here for that period of time, so I have plan to go vacation after April 2011 and won't come back here in Saudi Arabia.
