in your entire lifetime, how many cellphones have you had and what triggered the swithc? is if for practical reasons or what? as for me, I've had approximately 12 phones in a span of 10 years. My first ones were stolen/robbed, so I had to get new ones. Then the rest, I had to buy because I liked the features. Like now, my phone lets me have two sims open at the same time (main reason for getting the phone) and it is qwerty keypad. I also liked my old phone that lets me use 2 sims actively and has TV function, how about you? Can you share with us your own story?

Over the course of 22 years, I lost count after around 15 phones. I have no idea what my first phone's model was. I got it when I turned 18. It was a huge brick looking phone from Radio Shack. That was back in January of 1989. Most of the times, I changed phones because either I broke it or lost it. About 3 years ago, may be little over, I changed to blackberry because of my work. I don't want too much of stuff on my phone. I have 2 GPS based maps, emails & internet.

I have lost count on how many phone I have had in the last few years, but it isn't an extravagant amount anyway. I do try to upgrade at least yearly, unless I do see one that I like better. I don't upgrade every couple of months though, as that would be way to expensive and I have to save my money. I did purchase a new phone less that 2 weeks ago, and so far, it is the best phone I have ever had and I am glad I bought it. It has the Android OS. My daughter's phone has the Android so I thought I would try it and see if I like it, and I do. Now the phone doesn't have full flash as of yet, but there is to an update before to lone, but I am no really worried about that all that much anyway. It does have lots of features, and the best one I think is the touch screen, which is very vibrant and I can see the screen in the sunlight. That is the biggest reason I bought it, but there are other reasons too, way to many ti mention. Anyway, unless something better comes along, I will be keeping it for a lot longer than I have other phones. Take care, and have a very good day.
