Do you use piratical operating system?

Because the operating system is too expensive for our students, so a lot of my friends use piratical operating system instead.Though we know that it is illegal,but it worths a try.Nobody punishs us.

How mylot is windows based ??...mylot is a website and Windows is an OS.

No as regards operating system i use one legal without pay the licence as open source infact i use linux distro!!
In reality normally windows version is pre-installed when you buy a new pc..so in many cases you can have it on your pc for default but i think that an open source os is a good option for students for example in this way they can't pay license and they have a legit and good os.

I used to use pirated OS mainly because I didn't have enough money to buy original software. However, once I started working, there was no real reason for me to keep using my pirated software, since I had the money now to buy. So once Windows 7 came out, I bought it and since then I never looked back.
Otherwise, I would have stuck to using OS like Ubuntu and Jolicloud because these are also very good alternatives, and they are free.
