Why mylot

You mean ASP.NET ??? Mylot is based on asp.net and is much better than other php or open source forum script. Mylot team tried to do something new in forum development and come up with this forum. Whereas in Open source, there are just 2-3 scripts ruling the market with almost same features and looks. They dont try to make new things. Just re-using the same code with different name. Also, good open source based scripts are not free, they cost even more than using asp.net or proprietary based software.

What do you mean, open source? Care to explain? Not quite sure I understand your question.
