Lots of people eat less in the Summer time than Winter time,
also I think they eat more fruits ans salads in the summer than winter.
I'm a piggy when it comes to eating so I eat the same if it's hot or cold outside.
I don't eat light foods only cause it's hot outside.
Some people don't even turn on their oven in the summer cause it's too hot
Not me I have whatever my tummy calls for and if it wants Pizza in 110 degrees so be it.
Do you eat according to the season?

I think I pretty much stick to the same things winter and summer. I eat a lot of soups and beans all year. I also like salads all year and fruit. The type of fruit and veggies I buy may be different since they are on sale at different times based on their availability. But pretty much it stays the same for me.

I am with you on this one, as I am really skinny and when this tummy is hungry it has to eat. I can eat hot soups in the summer and simple quick meals in the winter.
My belly does not discriminate.

You lucky that you're skinny and can eat all the good stuff.
I love to eat but I gain weight easy and have to watch it.
I lost 30 pounds a year ago and so far I'm keeping it off.

I just wanted to add, Congrats to you, keep up the great work as it is quite challenging to be on a diet and maintain the weight. I read some of the other responses you made and it seems you are on the right track.

I tend to eat more seasonally. Not necessarily that I eat more or less, but the kinds of foods I eat. Eating heavy food in hot weather makes me very sick to I rend to stick to fish and chicken and avoid soups and stews. I'll occasionally have a heavier meal for supper.
I also have a sort of reversed nesting instinct in that I get the urge to cook starting in October and ending around April. So I bake or roast chicken, turkey, make stews and such at home.

That is weird.
Chili is a great food for winter time but I eat it in the summer a lot too.

I find I desire higher calorie food, such as cream, cakes, or crisps, during winter time. But the overall amount of food I consume in winter is the same as that in summer. The temperature is never over 25 degree (hottest!) in the region where I live, so we never find it's too hot to use the oven! We still have Sunday roast regularly and bake lots of cakes and yorkshire puddings over summer time.

That's the perfect weather, here it get up to 40 degrees in the summer time but that doesn't stop me from cooking and having pizza every Sunday.

Well, We do tend to eat lighter in the summer then the winter, but we have chili, stews, soups and stuff more in the winter months more heavier food. We still have the fruit and veggies too but not as much in summer. I will admit I dread turning on the oven in summer because of the heat. I use a toaster oven whenever I can so it won't put out so much heat. And I couldn't do without my microwave..lol

Well, some food, like soup I do not rather like in summer hot days. But I do for sure use the owen to make easy fast food so I do not have to stay in kitchen to long. I rather stay outside and enjoy the sun and warm days on my balkony. Winter is the time I like to make dinners more complicated rather than easy fast food.

yes we do eat differently in the summer than in the winter. We eat mostly potatoes and beef with Gravy and green vegetables, salads and apple pie in Canada. In the winter we live in South Texas, where its very summer like. We eat Fresh Grapefruit, papaya, melons, fresh pineapple, oranges, and lots of red and green pepper, both hot and sweet. All kinds of fresh vegetables, onions, fresh cabbage, and cauliflower. Potatoes don't do well in South Texas as its too hot for them. Good beef and good beacon is hard to find because we are used to Corn fed beef and lean Bacon in Canada.

Sounds like you live in 2 different worlds...nice.
I try to eat more fruits and veggies but it's just not one of my favorites.
I rather have some Pizza or Fries.

Hey missy! Is that you "Thanksgiving Bear" already? I do eat
according to the temps. When it's hot here in NY, since I don't
use airconditioning unless I absolutely have to I don't use
the oven in the Summer unless I want to broil a steak and I'm
insane! We can't even barbeque in my neighborhood so when it's
really hot I don't even feel like eating much most of the time.
But, if me and bf do I will cook on top of the stove like making
meat sauce and spaghetti or some kind of stirfry chicken dish!
In the Winter I definitely do alot more cooking because I always
have oven on anyway to keep warm! I bake alot more too! So much
for the weight gain cause I love baking cakes and bisquits!

I'm a terrible baker, that's probably a good thing cause I like cakes and cookies, pastries, biscuits and pies.
If I knew how to make them good I would gain a ton myself but since I don't do well with baking I'm pretty safe

the body is relatively dependent to the climate of the atmosphere whether there is winter or summer. the body may react to certain levels on the basis of the climatic conditions. so i think we should eat and drink according to the levels of the climate in the nature.

I used to eat differently during different times of the year, but now that my appetite has changed, I just eat all the time. Weather conditions no longer bother me, unless they are extreme. Before, I found out I was growing when the amount of food that I would eat over the winter, I could manage during warmer times. Most of the time, I try to respond to how my body is acting, but now, I just eat all the time because I am always hungry. I guess because I am working my body harder than before, it is now demanding more fuel, so who am I to deprive myself of food. Kind of the same way we put gas in our cars. They still need the same fuel requirement no matter the conditions. We cannot add lighter gas in the summer for a car. It bothers people when they say it is too hot to eat something heavy, and here I am mowing down food. I also drink a ton of water in the summer, so it makes it easier for me to eat more food. I am a big guy with a lot of muscle so I like to eat, and I like that I consume a ton of food in a day regardless of time of year.

I eat a lot more salad and fruits in Summer than what I do in Winter. Thre is a wider variety of them and the prices are cheaier. But when i´s cold I love a warm dish, soups, casseroles, pasta and legumes. In Summer I love a steak or a piece of cold chixken with some salad.
