Easiest DOTA hero for beginner

Who do you think is the easiest dota hero for beginners? If it was the old version of dota, I think Razor (Lightning Revenant) is the easiest and best hero for beginners. Because most of his skills are passive or easy to use. Also those skills increases his movement and attack speed which makes his strong in attacking, chasing enemies and even getting away from his enemies. But his skill were already changed and have been much complicated so I won't recommend him for beginners anymore.
Actually, we are having a competition here in our office just for fun. A 3x3 dota game where a three-person team will have a skilled, average, and beginner players. And I'm just wondering which hero should I suggest to the beginner player of our team that will be easy to use with a high chance of winning.
Please suggest a hero and if possible, you can also add a short/brief strategy for using your suggested hero. (Item/skill)

I think Vegenful Spirit( VS )
This hero don't want so many item to become effective to team....
Throughout all version of DotA, this hero has been changed but it's very little. VS with her abilities can be used as a support or ganker, even carrier with some items like this: tread, vanguard, bottle, yasha, deso:D

Yes VS is a good hero but her skills are target type. I think a beginner player of DOTA won't be able to hit the heroes effectively. Because our beginner player isn't used to targeting units yet and he might find it hard to hit the unit that he wanted or should hit with VS's skills.

Yah I agree with you on razor part on the old version. That is what I use, Specially when he have that rampage skill. One more hero is the old version of Life Stealer Ow how I wish they'll bring that old naix back. It is very easy to use and very hard to kill.

For me, the easiest hero for beginner is Centaur War Chief and Axe. Centaur has reflect damage ability and you can use it in farming creeps. As for Axe, Mogul Khan's ability to disrupt an enemy team is legendary, his tanking skills renowned. His Battle Hunger gives enemies the choice between staying back and taking damage, or engaging in battle and risking being trapped by Berserker's Call. These two heroes I guess are the easiest to use.

The easiest hero is probably skeleton king. He has three passives and a stun. It doesn't get much simpler than that.

Ok so if you are very new player it is important not to die alot (feed) so it will be best for you to get some simple hero that can escape easy have alot of health and is hard to kill for example Treant Protector is a good one for that also you can get heroes like bounty hunter, stealth assassin, nerubian weaver , bone fletcher simply buy some regen items healing salves at first after that i recommend u to do vanguard becuase u will die hard, have regen extra hp and blocking chance so for a beginner first do the power treads on strenght after do the vanguard and after that u can improvise for treant protector i recommend u to do radiance after the vanguard and power treads because you will be tanky enough for bounty hunter you can do sange and yasha for stealth assassin again sange and yasha , for nerubian weaver you can go for radiance linken sphere or monkey king bar , for bone i would reccomend you to do monkey king bar and after that butterfly it is very important to remember that you must do power treads on strenght and after that vanguard, after you finish them do the other items i suggested to u. It is also very important to take care not to die alot i hope i helped have fun playing :)

I think all the longrange type of hero is the easiest hero for the baginners like kardelsharpeye, viper and other longrange tpye hero that easy to handle .:D
