I started joining this site two years ago already then become active for more than a year. I can recall that there were around 140 thousand plus mylot members back then, now its 218,000 plus and still counting. Isn't it amazing ?
I kinda miss old friends who are not posting nowadays, although I can identify a few. For some reason perhaps those who inactive are now leaving mylot. Feedbacks says that they no longer be around due to a very small earnings that can be generated here. Personally, I joined other sites as well, but definitely, I wouldnt be leaving mylot. This site help me find new friends and refer me to sites that I can also find another opportunity.
How bout you, do you have any chance of planning to leave mylot? How does mylot help you anyway? Lets share thoughts.

Dear Torchablazed ! As I have said in severalof my discussions that I am one of the senior members of Mylot who have joined this forum right from its inception. This you can check by going through some of my postings.
I agree with you that I too miss many of my old friends though some are still here. But I feel that these people must not have left this forum for the reason of earnings. I feel that theu must be busy with their respective lives.
Like I was also not active for two years because of some familyproblems of mine there after I aws active for one year or so then again for another two years I couldn't participate again because of my professional preoccupation.
Compared to what I earn in my profession, the earnings here are not even peanuts for the time I am spending here. But this is not the intension with which I come here. I like paerticipating here and interacting with people and exchange the views, which makes me feelhappy and relaxed after the day's hectic schedule! When members interact and appreciate my views or cut some funny jokes I practically forget my tiredness and feel great!
So I think I won't leave Mylot so long it exists, Yes,but then I may be irregukar if my professional activities call in for more attention as that is my first priority!
Thanks!

I'm sorry to hear about those problems you have AKRao I hope they are okay now. Good for you that your reason for coming here is not all about the cents being earned, but the community as a whole, few mylotters are like you - I admire you for that being in this site is such a wonderful way of spending a day interacting with friends.

No, most likely I wouldn't leave MyLot, not any time soon. I like coming here - it's relaxing, and makes the time go by - especially when I have no work to do here at work and I'm trying to pass the time as much as possible. There are a few people who I have noticed haven't been around and have stopped starting and responding to discussions, but that's always to be expected. I left MyLot for a couple of months when I was super-busy and had another online earning obsession (ChaCha), but since, they've kicked me off and I have spare *online* time to spend somewhere else. It's not even close to what I made on ChaCha (that I make here..) but it's a lot more interesting and involves more thinking, which is nice, I guess. I mean, no one is going to be around forever on an online site though - people get busy, maybe they got a better job and don't "need" mylot, or maybe just forgot about it. The reasons are endless.

I think I can see me being here for years to come if of course mylot stays here for that long, for the fact that here you have thousands of people and many of them write many interesting discussions. It is also a place for me to be able to vent or ask for good quality advice from people. What i mean to say it just appears to me that there are a lot of mature people with many experiences opinions. I'm a loyal type of person so far I have only had a good experience with Mylot so even if there are similar sites to this one out there I am already a loyal user and contributor to this one.

I always leave myLot. When I go to bed, go to school or have something important to do. Still, I go back here whenever I can. It just has been a part of my life that I couldnt imagine being without it, even once in a while.^_^ This place has been my intellectual refuge from the outside world. Here, I know Im safe and I know Im welcome, and my opinion actually matters, even if it's different from everybody else.
The myLot veterans come and go. Most of them are busy with their offline lives, visiting relatives, going to the doctor, tending their garden, etc. They may leave here for months at a time. You'll be surprised one day that they posted a new discussion chronicling the things that they have been up to, or would just make us laugh as they used to. When a beloved myLotter is "missing", there's going to be word of how they're doing. Some US myLotters are actually meeting each other on a regular basis, and myLotters from all over the world are actually Facebook friends.
So, I might go AWOL from myLot for a long time, but I would definitely find my way back here sometime. I can leave myLot, sure, but I'm just not ready to let it(and all of you) go.

I friend, I am not very active because doing online jobs is only my part time activity but certainly I am not leaving myLot for this site is very dear to me. However because I also want some bigger earnings online I also have to divide my time among few good sites that give better earning. I have just discovered one very profitable site and I am sending you a private message so that you can also profit from this site. This is really very amazing. In just 4 days I earned 10 dollars without any cash out. Try this! I am sending my referral link via private message if in case you are not a member yet of this site.

No, I wouldn't leave as I enjoy myself to much in here, even though I am not in here all day or everyday, as I have other sites to do as well as here, and so I do take breaks from time to time. It keeps me from feeling bored so that I will want to be here. When I firs joined, I was here all day long posting, but then I was just here for the money too, but now I realize that mylot is much more than just earning, and I have learned a lot in here. I don't earn all that much anyway. It is nice to be able to share with others and see what they have to say about things, as we all have different ideas, and we can certainly learn from each other. I think if I ever did leave mylot, I woldn't be gone all taht long, as I just can't see myself not being here, as it is a lot of fun. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

I have no plans of leaving Mylot for another ten years perhaps.LOL
Other than monetary rewards, I have found friends here (real ones) that I can share pretty much everything I want. Even some of them go to an extent of offering me real help when I have problems and would spend time with me trying to figure out my situation.
Here's what I realize, I can leave facebook anytime or leave it dormant for weeks or even months but I can not let a day passed me by without visiting Mylot.
So, leaving Mylot right now is next to impossible.:)

10 years a short time, eureka.........lol!
Your answer should be - "I have no plans to leave mylot, as long as it exist on this planet"
Like you, I have also found some wonderful friends here, who are more than real life friends.

:) I'm giving myself a short term goal, dear.:)a 10 -year is good enough. If I last that long and if Mylot will last that long, too, of which I am hopeful of both, then, I'll be counting another 10 years to spend here.
I'm not sure if I would have gone this far given everything I had been through without my friends here in Mylot, especially, one particular friend.
We'll see what we will see, then.:)

I have thought about it. I rarely spend time here at the moment but I have not left completely just taken time out. I used to spend way to much time here and nothing else got done so I took time out. I check in occasionally and answer the odd discussion but that is all.

I don't know if in the future i would be leaving myLot. I don't want to give any estimations either on when i will plan to leave this site. Or if i earn a said amount i will leave this site.. I love this place. And so far, im having much time. I'm taking my time in reading all the interesting post and discussions full of learning so i won't be saying that i've had enough already. Im taking it one step at a time.. And i hope to be staying here as long as i have access to the internet

It's a shame to lose friends on any site. I guess that people move on: have less time to spend on the internet, what with work and families. Others perhaps just get bored.
I don't expect to be leaving myLot any time soon. If I were to change job to working days I would have a lot less time to spend here though.

No, I will not leave mylot.com unless it turns out to be a scam or unless I am involved in a more important piece of work & do not find any spare time to spend for it.
