i've always complained about the hard work and stress that i have to face everyday in the university, but now that i'm at home in the province for a 2-week vacation i feel a bit bored.
i guess i'm not really tired of all the monotony or tired of doing nothing yet, but i just might feel that in the next few days. life in the province is just too slow. before coming home, i thought that the life in the university was to fast.
ugh, funny how we tend to want something we don't have; or not knowing what we really want in the first place. *sigh*

oh that's good to hear.
maybe i'd have to settle with the busy life in the university for now, and feel this boredom everytime i leave school. and then as soon as i start working, maybe my normal days wouldn't be as busy, so my vacations here would truly feel more like rest than boredom.

Just relax and enjoy the quiet days. You will soon go back to the university and start the busy life again, why not enjoy the slow days while you can? When you start work, there are even lesser chance of having times like this.
When I was in school last time, during holidays, sometimes I will feel guilty for letting the days go by without doing anything productive. Now when I think back, I miss those days very much. I can't have those leisurely times anymore.
Appreciate and enjoy what you have now.

yeah that's a good point. we always tend to look for what we don't have, all the while ignoring what actually we have.
i've made up my mind. i'll clean my mom's closet, play some music with my guitar, and then read~ i haven't read any novel lately because i had loads of textbooks to keep me busy. i guess i can finally finish Orwell now~

i'm flying back to school tomorrow... vacation's over for me. i wouldn't be worrying about what to do anymore; i'll definitely get loads of stuff to accomplish.
i'm not sure i like it, but i'm going anyway.o_O

It's easier than you think to become tired from doing nothing. it takes more energy to do nothing than to be busy doing something. it may not seem possible, but it can happen.

hahaXD i'm not really old yet. maybe that's why i easily get bored.
hanging out with friends is good, but most of my friends aren't home. some are busy preparing for exams blah blah blah. they have lots of excuses alright. so i'm stuck at home.
i'm trying to bond with my sister, but her laziness irritates me a lot. *sigh*
i feel like i'm here for the sole purpose of scolding her. but i don't really like that. ugh.

Interesting topic I was very busy during my college years especially the last semester of my senior year because we were going to class all day, 7 days/week. It was very tiring and stressful. After graduation, the first thing I did was rest, really rest. Right now, I just finished a 3-month review program at a review center for an exam. I won't be taking the exam for a few months yet so I'm stuck at home. I still have to study but I am taking this whole week as a vacation before doing my home studies. Although I've wanted to try lots of things that I wasn't able to do during those 3 months, I just don't have the energy to do stuff and I end up doing the same things everyday. I watch TV, switch to laptop, watch TV, switch to laptop, and so on. Since these are nonproductive activities, I guess the tiredness of doing nothing relates to having no sense of accomplishment for that day. I'm not much of a reader and so I never thought I'd say this, but I would like next week to begin already so I continue studying and be more productive.

yeah, i guess it's the lack of accomplishment and purpose that makes this vacation boring. it's just weird. i few weeks ago i loathed deadlines, but i now, i'm sort of looking for them. *sigh*
i should look for something to do. and maybe continue with my reading too.

I`m in master now, and jobless, and it`s so boring ! It really hurts me this boring . I would prefere to work all day ,and then go to classes and after home , instead of staying home and doing pretty much nothing and then just go to classes and after that back home . I used to have an active life and every day i used to be all the time busy .

doing nothing is OK for a while if I've been so busy and I'm stressed. After a while doing nothing drives me nuts. I need a lot of activity or input to keep my brain engaged. If you're doing nothing then you're not spending any energy.

Doing make one more tired than doing alot of stuff. My mind often drift into day dreaming and i sometimes end up being depress by the end of the day. When you are not functioning you are actually not using up your muscles and that makes you more carefree and eventually becomes lazy. You will find that sometimes people get sick from just doing nothing because being active keeps the individual healthy. When you are too complacent you sometimes lack the energy to do the things you once use to do.

hahaXD ok i got it, you hate doing nothing~ haha:D
sometimes, i love doing nothing; sometimes, i don't. maybe it depends on where i am. if i'm in school, i prefer doing nothing; but if i'm at home, i guess i'll have to look for something to do, unless i want to be nagged at~ hahaXD

To be honest,I really dislike the feelings that have nothing to do,I'd rather quite busy with my work or other business than just have nothing to do,yes, sometimes i also expect for holidays but i hope don't beyond one week, few days enough for me to refresh myself from busy life.I really scared to sit there and don't know what i should do next, that really make me feel life is too bored to live, you know? After a long day work,i may feel quite exhausted sometimes but if i sit there just daydreaming,i'd rather die...He he he...Making myself busy have many ways as long as not feeling bored, that's enough...

Hi,
SOmetimes I do feel tired when I have nothing to do.
It is kinda of boring and I just need to have something in
hand to occupy myself.
I prefer to get myself busy, then the time will past faster.
Doing nothing is just like wasting my time for nothing.
That is why I prefer to do MyLot in my free time,at least my brain and
hand are busy working at the same time.

people have to do something when he or she is alive. no anyone who like to do anything , but just do what you want to do , so this is life.however you will feel unhappy if you do nothing . and one should do something then the world will be ok so you can deal with well with the people around you . i think so . good luck .
