We are bound to do several known and unknown mistakes.
It is but human weakness.
When I am alone - some thoughts arise in my mind and I laugh at myself for the mistakes done....

Had you experienced this moment at any time ...???
Please share your good thoughts..

Why should I laugh alone. You can also laugh with me. once I wanted to cook rice. I fill the pot (rice cooker)with water and rice. Now I wanted to keep the pot into the rice cooker. But do you know what I did? I kept the pot into the fridge. and at the lunch time everybody was at the dinning table with hungger. The rest you can imagin. The cooked rice was not in the rice cooker. But where was it? Who can imagin that would be in the fridge.

Of course.
If I hurt myself, usually it takes some time for me to actually find it funny but any silly things I do laugh. I hate when people laugh at someone who as hurt themselves or been hurt without seeing if they're okay first. If someone laughs during that time it's somewhat hard to see the funny side of things.

your are right - that clearly indicates their selfish attitudes. But really when this happens practically they keep their face down with an insult.
I am happy with such situations.
Cheers and happy my lotting....

Yes,I agree with you such situations are really judging one -but people do not understand the other persons position and burst into laughter.
Any how, there are some bad people too but cannot help we should move on with the society and also situations.
Of-course when such people get themselves hurt that is the real time for their realization.

Sometimes I think of things I did and I'm just amazed at myself that I did that.
Of course I laugh at my own stupid mistakes {when I'm alone and no one is watching}

That is true - this is something practical and only happens when we are alone without any thoughts in our mind.
Correct....

Yes,these are all the actions we do spontaneously and really how funny it is to observe such things and laugh for ourselves. And, there are some occasions wherein they are totally personal and cannot be shared with others too.I have experienced such situations too.

Yes, there are mistakes that create something like a comedy act and when you try to recall it in your thinking, you cannot help yourself but to laugh at your own crazy little mistake. haha!

Ha Ha, that is really correct and there is no other go other than to laugh and make ourselves relieved with such funny situations and some are there which we cannot share with-others and should keep it for ourselves.
How funny is life and it is all the minds play.....

I think this is the right, healthy, and therapeutic way of approaching and dealing with the mistakes in our lives. Of course, the first step should be realization of the mistake and making a real effort to correct or make ammends or do damage control or remedy the situation. Then after this process, when you look back, it is just best to laugh about it and move on. What's done is done. You cannot change the past; you just have to be optimistic about the future.

There is lot of transparency in your response.
Yes, one needs this spirit in life to go on with it and also keep on a watch of our mistakes which are the real teachers.

Yes Busybee I do laugh at my owm mistakes. It is an old proverb in our language which means that - It is easy to laugh at others, he is raelly tough to laugh at one self for the mistalkes he committed! That's so true. Initially when the mistskes are fresh I used to get irritated just to recall them as that used to remind me how big fool I was at that time when I have committed the mistake. But with the passage of time and gaining the experience of time, I realise that such mistakes are common and they do happen with every one and I am no exception for this. Then it brings smileon my face and recalling silly mistakes I laugh loudly and some times I share such experiences with my friends to entertain them.
When I was in college, those were the days when marshall arts were making way to India every youngster was posessed with this devil of marshal arts. I was also no exception. One day my friends younger brother cameto me for some work and while discusing with him I casually mentioned that I am taking lessons in Judo and karate. And on his request I demonstrated some actions and when I wanted to show him how we need to kick in the air, I got slipped badly and had a fall on my back. Luckily I incurred no injury and got upnext moment by covering my mistake by saying to him - 'See this is theway you need to save yourself in case of accidental slip' to which he innocently nodded and left my place!
Whenever I recall this incidence I laugh my stomach out and I still remind him about this incidence whenever I get chance to meet him , now at this age of 50!
Thanks , it was a good topic of discussion , I loved to express my feelings here!

When man learns to laugh at his own mistakes, that is the beginning of wisdom.
This is what I believe to be true because when a person learns how to laugh at his own mistakes, it denotes maturity and acceptance of one's frailty.

Sometimes I do laugh at my mistakes and engage in self-deprecating humor. Sometimes I am hard on myself and get mad at me for my mistakes.

Hi, busybee10!
Yes, I did that. Many times I myself made funny mistakes, and I can't help laugh at it. Though I'm also feeling embarrassed simultaneously, but it's better to let the mistake pass in a good laugh than to fly into a rage from shame, isn't it?

Yes on the life's move - several such things happen some are spontaneous and some are done unknowingly. On our scrutiny only we will know that.We should take all the negative things in a positive way and feel that they are our teachers. And, this can be done only by a good laugh on ourselves......

hehehe I am laughing now as I can relate myself to this topic. Yes Everybody does relate to this topic somewhere and experience this in life. I do laugh when I ponder over things or mistakes done by me when I am in a calm state. It makes me think how childish I acted in certain situation or how funny I was acting and everybody else around laughing to it, These memories make you laugh even when you are alone. It has happened many times especially after fights that I recall those moments and find out that how silly I was and some things make me laugh making me thing how can I act like a child in those situations. These kind of things happen with everyone and I am sure everybody does laugh at their own mistakes while pondering over them all alone in silence :).

Yes I do! a lot of times actually. Instead of feeling sorry for myself for being so silly, I just laugh at myself. It's good to admit that no matter how hard we try there are still times when we make mistakes and what's important is we know how to acknowledge our weaknesses and strive to improve ourselves.

Most of time I feel annoyed when I make mistakes and at that moment I just want to blame someone or something except myself. I think it requires some kind of detached alter ego inside oneself in order to laugh at his/her own folly. Instead of facing myself, I just turn my attention to something else. I am not sure if it is good or bad, but I guess it is more like a kind of escapism.

I usually do laugh at my mistakes. Sometimes, if I am very tired I will do or say something and then when I wake up from a nap think "Why did I do that?" I realize that every human makes mistakes and I really don't think it means much so why not admit it?
