Do you have donated blood any time?

I have heard from someone that blood donation is good for health. I have never donated blood but hope to do so if required. I also want to know if somebody has given blood then how does he feel?

Interesting point ... It seems we are all meant to be instruments of giving ... some give cash, some give goods, some give time and effort, some give words of kindness, ... and then again some give their lives ... but perhaps next to giving one's life, to give of one's blood to help another person seems to be most profound ... What do you think ?

Ya. I think it's great. But may be that have some positive and negative effects to people. I want to know about that. Maybe that would be different from our age old belief.

my grandmother donated blood once a month for 20 years before moving to south africa. upon her return she was no longer allowed to give blood in the united states. it broke her heart, she loved to give blood and to care for people's lives.
