Party Time at Work

As you all know I work at a Hospice and there's lot's of sadness at times, so we always trying to be cheerful and have a good time otherwise you just wanna cry all the time
.
We always get tons of food from Family members as Thank you gestures for taking care of their Loved ones and we always having some kinda little Party going on.
We have monthly staff meetings which include cakes and bagels and pastries,
we celebrate just about every bodies Birthday with some sort of Cake or Pastries.
On the Holidays we always have a Pot Luck going on were everybody brings a dish.
Sometimes we get Food catered from Places that just want to say Thank you
.
Today we're having a Chili & Costume Party, everybody brings Chili or some kinda Snack
and we eat, have drawings for Prices and Whoever made the best Chili and has the best Costume will win a Gift Card
.
Needless to say I'm looking forward to going to work today.

We have little parties at work too. Everyone will bring a dish and it is usually in celebration of an upcoming wedding or child. There are times that we have potlucks when someone is going to another shift too. We don't get to wear costumes but we have some wonderful food.

I love it when we have pot lucks cause we have so many different nationalities working there you get all kinds of yummy food.

Well I work in a hospital and our parties at work is really the best times I have had.

Hello missybear,
It is really hard to work in hospice but it seems you try your best to enjoy it. In my work i think there is no party or having fun because we are really focusing in our business. It sad to say but I think i need to find another work because my present work is very hard. I hope that you will continue your work in hospice and just have i happy work always there.

Thank you and I hope you find a happier Place to work in the future but until then just try to make the best of the Job you have cause they hard to come by now a days.

It really makes the day go by faster but I know at some work places it has to be more professionally.
