Body piercing

I love piercings, ir is a form of art just like tattoos. I am a girl and i have 10 piercing (used to be 11) but i dont get piercing just because. Every hole i have is for diferent events in my life. I have 4 on my left ear, 3 on my right ear, one on my right side of my lip, nose piercings and toungue piercing. If people like piercing then they should do then without needing to think if others are going to like them or not because of the choice of piercing your own body.

I don't like people especially girls that has a lot of pierce in their bodies. I find it dirty..sorry for those who has one, that is just my opinion. Its nice to see girls clean. Only pierce in the ears which is normal for girls is nice to look for me.

I prefer to see people without any piercings. I personally don't like any piercings including ear piercings. I rather have them wear clip ons or something that doesn't puncture the skin. I won't disrespect somebody because they have piercings.

I always find that too much of something is always bad. Up to 4 piercings is fine for me. More than that is too much for me.

I only have my ears peirced but I wouldnt mind a belly peircing. I hate lip/facial peircings. The nose is ok though. And couldnt even imagine genital peircings... ouch..

I don't mind them but you should be careful where you place them. My wife has a tongue ring but she doesn't wear it all the time. I don't really care for piercings when someone has so many that they look like a pin cushion

I was going through a hard time a number of years ago and got my navel pierced. I kept it for a few years. Then I gained some weight and it became uncomfortable, so I took it out. The hole is taking forever to close all the way. At least it doesn't hurt anymore. I do also have my ears pierced. I love earrings!

It's really down to what others think. I can only really say how I feel about myself and I personally wouldn't have any, as I just don't see the point. I have friends who have some and it's more of a trend than anything else in my opinion. Some people like them though, so it's really down to what they think and feel.

I used to have quite a few piercings. I had my tongue pierced, but one day I ended up eating something I was allergic to and my tongue swelled up. My tongue was so big, it hurt having my tongue ring in, so I took it out and waited for the swelling to go down. As soon as it went down, I tried putting my tongue ring back in but by then the hole had already closed up! I also used to have my belly button pierced and my nipple pierced. With both of those piercings, the jewelery irritated my skin, so I'd take out the jewelery to let the irritation heal... and of course when that healed the hole closed up as well. I have a fair bit of ear piercings though. I have 4 holes in each lobe, an inner helix piercing and a tragus piercing. All of those piercings have been perfectly fine. They don't get irritated or infected, and I can take the jewelery out and they don't close up. So me personally, I do better with piercings in my ear. So from now on if I ever get any more piercings, they will be in my ears. Though lately I've been getting more tattoos than piercings! I like the look of lots of piercings. It doesn't bother me at all. I really like body modification.

Well, I hate it. But I think piercing in the ears is okay. I don't get what the fuss is about over it- why do people want to hurt themselves, and make holes in their body anyway? But it's up to the person, we can't really judge them based on that. But it's dangerous sometimes, piercings- you could get infected and stuff if you're not careful ..

in general it's okay as long as it's not too many because i find too many messy.

I can accept piercing on the ears or bellybutton, but in other places, I can't accept it. However, everyone has the right to treat his or her boby. It shows a really strong personality in the modern society.I think so.

Well for me body piercing is a way of expressing "i am unique,different".So its every person's wish to pierce.While some people for genuine reason of love for it,some do it to show off or for popularity.I dont like body piercing but what i feel is if you dont do it cause someone told you do it if you really want it for a reason

it's not to my taste particularly, I can't even be bothered to wear earrings, so getting anything else peirced seems pretty pointless. I've seen some people who have facial peircings that look really lovely on them. on some girls it can look really cute. one girl I know with peirced eyebrows, nose and lip it suits so much. she just looks really cute with it. I think it depends a lot on the individual. some people it looks lovely on, and some people not so nice. I have to disagree with the poster who thinks it looks dirty. if you have piercings you need to keep them very clean to avoid infections, so how can you look at a peircing and think it makes a person look dirty. I would rather see a full grown person enjoying their peircings, even if they're not to my taste, than I would see, as you so often do, innocent little babies with peircings, because the parents wanted them. parents getting children peirced makes me sad. it's not THEIR body to make that choice for them. body mods should be chosen by the owner of that body, and taking the choice away isn't right. so basically, peircings aren't for me, but I quite like them on other people when it suits them. I'm more into tattoos myself.

I myself have resolved to only getting piercings in my ears, I don't find that the rest of my body needs any more jewelry than that, some people look good in it and others... well rather scary, but to each their own, I'll still judge just because i'm a human, but that doesn't mean i'm not going to like the person for their said piercing. what bothers me is the nipple piercings though, especially with men and then they have to wear tight clothing... yeah that just doesn't do it for me...

I am neutral as long as the person does not overdo it. Personally, I will not get one for myself thou.

i really hate some girl not have a piercing in she body or any where cause the piercing is just not only girl or women but man too like piercing they ear or any place he like , mode for piercing is going up even in there too you know what i mean
