as you get older in life, you dont need romance but instead a partner who will be your best friend and will accept you for who you truly are. agree or disagree?

I agree. When we get old, we want someone to be there wholeheartedly. Even a single touch of hands is passionate. We like to share our experiences in life with the one we love. I envision the future with my future husband. We are holding hands together, walking around the pond one lazy afternoon, looking at the sunset.

Well, as we grow old? Yes actually I have to strongly agree with this. But, not just a best friend. Most likely, best friend, and someone you can lean on and have fun with.

I think everyone needs romance in their lives, even as they get older. Romance doesn't mean S*X but instead it means intimacy and compassion. Even as we get older we need that to survive. We need to know someone is going to be there to help us to feel loved and to share in our accomplishments. A partner is nice to have but a romantic partner is even better!!!

I agree with you. We also need romance even if we get older. We don't just need partner or companion as we get older. It is better to grow old with the person you love and he loves you too.

Romance is a wonderful think even as we get older and maybe especially as we get older.

Love is always needed. The best, is to find that love of your life that will survive the ups and downs of a regular marriage, will be on your side everytime you need , help raise the kids and buy groceries. Alows you to cry on his/her shoulder and give a welcome advise. With the time, of course being good spouses, you also get to be best friend, and of course during so many years together they already accepted you as you are.
