What is Wrong With This Traffic Sign

More than 100 days after the new mayor started his job, I saw these traffic signs in some parts of our city (sorry I won't mention the name of the city).
Do you think this traffic sign is correct? Or there is something on this sign that does not follow the international standard?

Depending on the purpose of the sign. Most of the time traffic signs can help to minimize accident but sometimes also it will add the burden of some drivers. I agree with putting traffic signs if it is in the right positions and won't interfere the flow of traffic in a certain place. Drivers when they saw a traffic sign they must follow on it to avoid violations. I hope that this sign will help on your traffic problem and not add the problem.
