That didn't take too long

So yesterday I was complaining about how I hated having to read through the many announcement posts in TechDoctorDeals. I'm about ready to call it a scam because of today's latest announcement regarding Premium Membership:
If a user is currently not a member and decides to upgrade in December they must pay for October and November. We have several users who have been members from the launch of our Premium Membership program and we must make it fair for all users.
So the idea is that you don't pay for the subscription you afford, but you're paying for the time when you don't or can't use it either. Wow. And you'll be penalised for every month you DON'T join the Premium Membership.
I think I'll put this in the likely scam bin. What do you think?

Did anyone actually cashed out from thats ite? I have been hearing about it for over a month now. And I haven'tjoined it yet because I am skeptical. Now that you mentioned about this upgrades, I am more skeptical!

Reading that particular forum, there are quite a few people who did manage to cash out. Here's some other signs it may be a scam:
They're processing payments manually instead of automatically, and then say there's a delay as they are trying to "catch up."

I got paid from techdoctordeals.com once. So I must say that TDD is a legit site. But since about their new pay out rules that non-premium cannot cash out if they cannot upgrade to premium I am thinking twice. I am a non premium member and I am thinking a lot if I am going to upgrade my membership. There's a lot of earnings if you are a premium member but I don't have enough money to purchase premium membership monthly. I'm not sure then if I am active for the whole month to reach their minimum $100. But I know its for the benefits of the sites and the community that's why there are some changes like this.

Hi naokokensaku!
I've always hated sites which requires you to shell out cash just so you'll fully enjoy the benefits. :(
You're right, TDD is heading towards that way. Just like how Toneaday was.
That particular announcement was the biggest shoutout of "This is a scam site"

I called this a scam the second I heard about it. Exactly how is it "fair to all users" to make someone pay for something they didn't use? They are running out of money, and will close up shop soon.
I read a thread the other day that they changed their TOS so that you can only get paid as a premium member. Well, now people are upgrading so they can get what is theirs, but I bet you they don't have enough to cover the payments, hence this absolute BS that you must pay for months you didn't use.

Yup, that was what set me off to. Everything else, from only premium users being able to withdraw and all, those I could handle. But paying to be fair to "other" users? I call it BS.
