why do you join mylot? how do you join this website?

Dear all, some people would think that my quesion seem to be a little nonsense. Some people would reply to me immediately that joinning mylot to make extra money. But I join mylot is to improve my writing in English and to share opinions, exchange information with other people. I was introduced by one of my university classmates. And at first I was not quite familiar with mylot. I even don't know how to raise a new discussion. How about you?
