I often use letters as my way of communicating with my husband.. and it is a way of showing my affection for him.. how about you? Do you still write love letters for your loved ones?

Yeah I do that when I was a teenager. But time changes and people changes because of today's technology you know. My boyfriend and I use text, YM and skype. He is from a faraway land and we are having now a long distance relationship. Hope we can make it.

But don't you think he would be surprised to find a nice little love letter in the mail box sometimes? It would probably put a smile on his face.

I don't write letters to be 'sent' to my bf but i do write everything that i feel for him and read it to him directly. It's also my way of telling him how much i love him.

My husband and I do write little love letters every once in a while for each other. We usually send sweet little text messages. But once a month we take time to write a love letter and read it to each other. This just keeps us 'in check' and helps us to remember what it is that we loved about the other when we first began dating, kind of keeps the spark alive.

I really think that love letters are one of the sweetest things in a relationship. It shows how much you value someone because you took the time and effort to write it, and you get to be open to those you love. I enjoy letters because I'm not really comfortable saying my feelings verbally, and this is a way for me to get it out. Others say, "Why can't you write an email instead or text?" Well, it's really simple. For me, the romance is taken away by text msgs. I dunno, I really prefer written notes than e-texts. At least, when I read his letter and see his handwriting, I'll feel like he really, deeply, truly cares for me. It personalizes stuff, in a way.
