Here it is prohibited to test whether your baby is a boy or girl when you are pregnant. Besides, I don't really want to know the gender of my baby. It will be a surprise for me when my baby was born. I love China

i would want to know the gender of my baby before he is born. For me it is practically wise to know the gender before the baby is born, so that we can buy stuff that is appropriate for his gender.

I have to agree with you! I left my last baby a surprise having my last 5 boys, I bouth a olive Green car seat because I knew it could go either way! Anyhow babes was born and it was a GIRL to my surprise so I was a little upset I did not know for I would have boughten a PINK car seat! Ih well a lesson to be learned......Grrr So with this baby being #10 I will be finding out!!!!! even if it means 3D Ultrasound lol

LOL......What did you wind uo having? How old is your baby/child now .....I had a few that didn't want to move the legs and here in canada now they only allow 2 ultrasounds unless you are a high risk....I sure hope this baby works with me beacause it will drive me crazy lol! I guess I could always do the 3D but just very costly!!!

I did. When I was 7months pregnant, we found out our baby's gender. My husband was really excited so he was the one pushing me to have an ultrasound. Plus we wanted to be prepared with our baby's clothes.

I think I would want to know. But I have never been pregnant yet so I cannot know for sure. But for me, it makes sense to find out!

I found out with some and didnt find out with others.......It never really bothered me before as I would just buy yellow, greens ect so it could go either way but with my last baby it was a Girls after 5 boys in a row .....It would have been a little nicer to buy her a pink car seat as verses the olive green =( But this baby coming I am so hoping we can find out so I can buy the right things this time =) Thank you so much for your reply Stacy

It is very exciting and i choose to wait but due to a Pre-Natal Program is extremely required to every pregnant woman then you have no choice but to know babies gender earlier....

Congratulations on your pregnancy. I don't like saying 'it' and so finding out the gender lets me say 'she' or 'he'. Finding out if it is a girl or a boy helps me bond with my baby. In my first pregnancy the hospital wouldn't let parents know their baby's gender. I had a baby boy. At 16 weeks pregnancy I went to have a gender scan in a private clinic in my second pregnancy. I was told a boy and they were right. They didn't tell me a seriously disabled boy. I found that out at 36 weeks pregnancy. In my third pregnancy I went to see the fetal medicine unit to check if I was expecting a normal or disabled baby. I asked if it was a girl or a boy. The consultant said girl at 16 weeks pregnancy. He was right and I had a normal baby girl. So now I have a 15 year old son, a 3 year old disabled son and a 17 month old baby girl. I think it is worth knowing the baby's gender in my opinion.

I found out the gender with my daughter and my son. I wanted to know with both of them so that I could be prepared with their clothes. Now that I've had one of each if we have another one I might want to wait to know the gender. I never thought I would say that. But I think being surprised might be fun now that we have everything to be prepared for either gender. And congrats on the new baby! My sil is due with her first baby June 3rd.

wow! 10th baby.. congratulations and I should say I admire you for being able to raise 9 chldren plus one more. For me, I would probably want to know my baby's gender so I could prepare her/his things while waiting for my baby to be delivered. If the sonogram says my baby is a girl then I can buy pink things and other girly stuff and even paint her nursery in a girly shade on the other hand if it was a boy then I can have his things in blue. Goodluck on your pregnancy and I pray that you'll stay healthy all through out.
