We all receive notification whenever our friends starts a new topic. So, when we start a discussion also they will be intimated by But when you start a discussion, and none of them or most of them do not participate, how do you feel, and what would you do? You still participate in their threads or otherwise. I feel so sad and now i stopped participating. I do only when i like the subject.

It's no big deal to me if my friends will respond to my discussions or not. I can't just force them to respond if they are really not interested. As i too don't respond to their post if i don't have any idea about the topic or not really interested with the discussion.

yeah thats what i do now. but i felt when we start a discussion, there is some good gesture from our friends and that is what for the mail is sent by admin to us that our friends started a discussion. a friend in need is a friend in deed. when they respond, and we comment back, the earnings goes. and without much effort a sort of network is formed. is it not.

It doesn't matter much to me whether they participated or not. People can relate to a topic they are comfortable with and each of us have different opinions on this matter. I have a very broad mind but some of my friends may not have and may take offense in something that I have posted, so I don't expect them to make a comment at all.

Hi mouli, It happens to all of us and this is again mutual. If we take part in other members' discussions they will remember to do so in our discussions ! In my case I really dont bother with any of those details, when I have the time, I log in and I look up whatever discussion interests me , giving a little more interest to those who regularly take part in my discussions ! - all the best and have a nice day

It really doesn't bother me at all, as not all my friends would be able to respond or what they want to either. I am just thankful I get an responses at all, as I find it hard to come up with a good topic of interest, one that others will want to respond to. Sometimes a few of my friends will respond, but I don't expect them to respond every discussion I start. I only respond to those that interest me, and so would my friends as well. If my discussions aren't interesting enough to respond to, they won't. plain and simple, and I wouldn't expect them to either. Good luck to you and happy mylotting.

The only time that I answer is when I am interested in something. I am new here but that feeling that I have is that if it is a question or subject that I am not interested in I am not going to sound like I know what I am talking about or that I am sincere so I would rather not say anything at all.

Like most many others, I only respond to discussions I can give accurate or valuable inputs. My friends dont respond to most of my discussions. I respond to theirs if want but that is if I like the topic.
