Hello friends, I am surprised after I log in to Toneaday, I see an English Test must pass to proceed to making money rate the words page. Do you think it is a challenging idea or just a way to decrease workers and avoid payment to its members?

I didn't know this yet, so I logged on and I did the test. I think it's a good idea, because there may be people whose knowledge of the English language isn't good enough. Those people might rate phrases incorrectly because they don't understand well enough. I don't think it's a way to avoid payment. :)

I took the test, and I thought it was okay. Some questions are a bit harder, but I had a dictionary next to me, so that helped a little. ;D However, I didn't have to look up too many words. Good luck!

Hi zearah, I dont think they are doing that to avoid payments. Those are to ensure that the users are well versed with the meanings and emotions when they rate. for me this challenging. But it is sad that I am still under qualifying stage. My account have like that for almost two months. I logged in today to check and i took the english test. I did passed the test but still i can't rate the phrases :(

I believe in that, they added English Test so that they will avoid payout. As of now my registration is still pending and I am not hoping they will approve it. Because no matter how good you are at rating, when they do not like you because they do not have money to pay for you, they will reject you. It makes me sad. Hi Zearah!!

Yup, but recently the program is slow and so many questions raised by the members and some of those are still unanswered as of to date.

I also noticed the test as well I past the test, as for payout I dont no what there motives are for having the new test feature but I have a feeling there not having these test to avoid paying members. I think the test are just to screen members level of understanding and make sure they can understand the words there rating, the site has assured members that they will be paid and if I'm not mistaken members can take the test agin if they failed it.

Hi Zearah, I've been rating at toneaday too and I actually see your name there. I've been paid 4x, and this month is supposed to be my fifth (and the biggest) payout. I've taken the exam and thankfully passed it. But until now I haven't been paid for this month yet. Were you paid already? I wonder if it's just me. I agree, it is paying so I can't really say it's a scam, although this time it got me worried, and I don't know why.

I also think same friend. But I if it so, I did not expect from them. But some of my country people have passed. I think to avoid the enough payment is the right point. I do not know when and how I will get paid my previous dues.

Well This is one of their test. I think it is a way to avoid paying unnecessary people who don't have a full grasp of the english language.

Hello, I think it is a safety measure to prevent the people with low proficiency in english to rate in toneaday. As i see from the forum, if we scored 65% or above, we will pass the test and can continue rating without any problem. Also, this is a step to decrease the number of member so that the one with higher qualification can get in. By the way, they will also make a change with our October payment, for more those who don't realize yet, they will check our data and will pay according to our rating accuracy. For more information, please refer to the forum (not referral link): http://getsatisfaction.com/lymbix/topics/new_qa_process Have a nice day!

Does it mean that if can continue to rate for November means we passed the test? Let's celebrate then

Forum of Toneaday seems getting lousy and less interesting the topics. No more excitement instead almost all are queries and doubts as to when will the Toneaday give earning bucket. Will there be another scam site if Toneaday stop paying? If they will announce the payment status I guess a stop paying program that expressly tells the true stand of a program cannot be a scam site even if it stop paying because it will let the members to decide to stay or not after updating on latest status.

As again my friend, Huey365 i found out very usufull information from you. Thank's for posting the link to the forum, very very usufull info for me as a rater. I did took the test i was surprised as many of you. I sucesfully passed it. I was worried at the beging but in the end all worked out. It make sens to me that they test us, they do pay us for our oppinion and if you can't understand something how can you give your oppinion abut it?

I just re-logged in and the English test disappeared. I thought it was a glitch, meant for new members.

Hi friend, the same things happened to me. After rating of 22343 phrases/words, it is really painful to see such type of activity. I am having $239.70 for October and $23.40 for November to get paid. I am really frustrated and shocked while almost all are completing the tests successfully. So let me know what is to be done. I saw you there rating good yesterday also but today my badluck. Please resond to this message.

Hi Sujaysen. What is your last update on Toneaday? I heard they are investing time on different issues to resolve and give an ample support to the TAD members.

Well, I logged in again and the English test appeared again so I just took it. They want to make sure all their members understand English meanings so that the ratings are accurate. I imagine that this activity is what has caused the delay in payouts this month. It takes time to grade tests that would ordinarily be used to approve payments. At least that is what I would guess.
