Is there a heaven and hell or are we there already?

I used to think this way. I thought that earth was hell and we keep getting tries until we fully become a great person... then I found out there are religions that base on this. Now, I don't know anymore. I think heaven and hell exist on earth and maybe there is nothing else beyond this except peace.

Hello Eko, welcome to mylot, i agree with you In my opinion hell as well heaven both are here in earth, if we do good, we get back good, it is heaven, if we do bad, we get back more bad, that is hell, our karma decides that.. I understand your sentiments - life can be very testy, awful at times, especially when one is in need of help and can't get any. Nevertheless, there is a hell (or there'll be one), and it'll be a lot worse than life here on earth. Don't get discouraged and do bad; the answers are in & with God, but very few know Him and His ways. You believe in God, which is good. The next step is getting connected with Him through Jesus Christ, and finding others who believe the same and are able to encourage you.

We make our own heaven, we make our own hell. Sometimes it's just hazard, sometimes it's a complex web of events that lead to a specific conclusion. One might think that the balance between good and evil is a little too leaned towards the evil part, but I say we live in a pretty great world compared to the rest of history.

Heaven and hell are two distinct and very real places that exist in eternity. We will only come to grips with them in eternity, on this side we can only guess about them. Many things about life on Earth can be compared to heaven and hell, but no matter how bad or how good life here is, Earth is neither heaven nor hell. We can neither imagine how good heaven will be, nor how awful hell will be. It is that which you do with your belief in God that will determine your eternal destiny.

It depends on your perception.. for few it can be heaven already... and for few it may be like hell.... but lets be real.. there is not place as hell. Heaven, yeah I do believe that it exists, but hell... for sure doesn't. Religiously speaking... The earth was a paradise once... but it is us who ruined it and now I guess its too late or us to realize it.. No offense...
