I seldom start discussions because I feel it's more confortable to answer anothers discussions to earn some money. I don't have a successfull experience with starting discussions, so I better remain at responding.
But when someting really bothers me or I have something important to share, I do start a discussion. I also start a discussion when there is something I need to know. But this doesn't happen too often.

I don't know if we are allowed to tell how much we earn for our activities, but I'll tell you that I reach the minimum payout in the first two decades of the month.
What about you? How much do you earn only from starting new topics and responding to only two discussions a day?

Ok, in this case my thinking is opposite to that of yours. I earn more by starting discussions. I rarely respond to discussions. But i always respond to minimum of two discussions everyday. How much do you earn by responding to discussions? Happy mylotting.
Thanks for your response.

I don't start discussion based on the fact that it helps me to earn, I'm not here exactly for that. I post discussions so that I can get an insight to what I'm writing about or if I'm looking for help/opinions. Perfect example would the discussion I started in regards to my sons school, there blunder and I wanted to see what people here made of it.
Mylot isn't all about money, it's great for many more things and I hope more people see it as a place which is fun.

Well, i am here on mylot for last 2 months and i still consider it to earn money. But i also my questions here when i want to know something or need some help. But it is still in my mind that mylot is for earning as i am still a student and i need some side income. Happy mylotting.
Thanks for your response.

Sometimes when i really don't find any posts that are interesting i would start a discussion so that my earning for that day won't get wasted. But most of the time i make discussions out of curiousity and need to know what others think about that certain topic.

hi harry!
i would say i start discussions because i want to seek for help, suggestions and opinions.most of them are just some views or sharing others experience.the money is just a bonus to me.and most of the time i am an active responder.it sounds like you are an active poster harry.i like to write responds to discussions but i am starting to be a choosy responder as it is all depends on the discussion subjects.

I not start too many discussions and find myself being a great responder. But when I do I am more of an awareness person and seeking for perhaps some suggestions.

Ok, quite a few people here like to respond to other's discussions and don't like to start discussions. But i love to start discussions, i start a minimum of three discussions everyday and that all from which i earn here on mylot. Happy mylotting.
Thanks for your response.
