Yes, I agree with you, I also feel happy when I see friend request from mylotters. Actually it means if you have more friends then you have more discussions and idea around and you ll get more exposure of your own idea, I think have more friends is good for having the exposure of your idea....:0 Have a nice day...

hello cyrri! well,it is fun to see friend requests.that;s what i felt when i was newbie here. but i think it also depends on what others feel for adding you as a friend.sometimes,there are people who feel happy interactig with you,which is nice so they will add you.and know you more by interacting in your every post here. there are also people who just add you cause they wanted to have referrals on their online stuffs. you just have to think first before accepting them. it's all up to you,after all!

I used to be really happy when someone requested my friendship here in mylot but now it is nothing special anymore because now that I have been a member with mylot for almost 5 years if I were to say yes to everyone of them I would have thousands of friends on my list and that would defeat the purpose of having friends here. The reason we have friends here in mylot is so we can chat back and forth with them and post responses to their discussions to help them earn money as well as earn money yourself. So if you have thousands or even hundreds of friends on your list you are going to have thousands or hundreds of disscussions to respond to and you couldn't keep up to them all so what would be the point. I used to say yes to everyone that requested me before but I finally went through all the hundreds of friends I said yes to and got rid of a lot of them because most of them aren't even here anymore. Now I keep my friend's list to a reasonable amount so I can be a true friend to them and respond to their discussions. I also don't request friendships anymore because I just have enough for now that I am loyal to and can't take on anymore and still be loyal to all of them. Cheers and Happy mylotting my friend Chris

I love my 'Lot' friends! There are some who have asked for my friendship for spam reasons and they are the ones I disapprove pretty quickly! I think that people read each other’s posts and relate to one or two things there or just enjoy someone’s writing. It is difficult to put into words what draws one person to another. I used to think it was chemistry and I have to wonder if there is such a thing online too...

when I was new also here joy and happiness I felt.. I told myself why only now I known this mylot and share my ideas to other friends. Here I feel in one community which all are together and sharing between each other.. Welcome and see you around... accept my request as my friend also if you don't mind...

the longer you are here you will see some people just want to be friends to send you a PM to ask you to join this or that. those people get deleted really fast. then there are those who really just want to be mylot friends. they want to see what you post and they want you to come reply to their post. now those are true mylot friends

hi cyrri ako I am very happy to have a lot of friends here. they have become very dear to me. I hope they chose me because they'liked mydiscussions and my posting not just because I am one of the oldest here but it does not matter as I am happy having good f riends here in my lot.

hi cyrri_ako, now a day people are extending their relations with other people,i too was struggled for friends 6 months on the net,but i could not,after joining in mylot i have earned lot of friends more than 500 still i am getting friendship requests,who are responding our messages,responses,we opt for their friendship,just like that they also like us,have a nice day

Well, I choose friends because I like the posts they start, or I like their responses, or I feel like they have a nice interesting personality. Sometimes if I read a post or response I feel a depth that I need to run to the profile and check out their other posts and responses. Sometimes I choose friends, because they have offered compassion and kindness to others or myself. Sometimes its because we like to talk about the same things and I feel we have some things in life in common. Also, if they are talking about God, bible, Jesus, christians or a religion of any kind, I am interesting in the beliefs and want to know more about them. There's just all kinds of reasons why I chooose my friend.

It's OK to make friends here just don't be too happy because there are people who want to be friends with you so that they can spam later.

I feel happy if many myLotters would send a friend request to me.. Yes, it's very flattering that even if they don't know you personally still they want to befriend you. MyLot is really a nice place to stay with all these kind hearted members :)

theres a lot of reasons why some add friends here in my lot. but if you are going to ask me, i add people if i like the discussions they post and if they are sensible people. like posting discussions that is going to be relevant to everyone. i do feel happy when someone adds me up but i'm getting frustrated on some that keeps on sending messages about referrals... stop it...

with mylot being worldwide it is great to meet new friends from different areas of the world and to find out new things. i really do like the friends i have met on here and i have not been here that long.

I am also happy, if one member of MyLot, wanting to be my friend. I never think of, why they chose me as a friend. The important thing for me, I have many friends in myLot.

I get happy when there is a friends request too.

I have received many friend's request and I have sent out as many. Usually I prefer to have friends, whose interests matches mine. There are friends with I find difficult to interact because their subjects do not interest me.

sometimes people see our answers in discussions and like it and invite us to be friends^^ i guess thats the way that they use the most to invite us to be friends with them. i also be happy when receive some invitations :) i feel happy bcs that means that people like me. im sure that they invited you bcs they like the way you answer and your personality seems nice^^

Well..In this site I don't think you have to know people personally. I feel very happy everytime someone has send me a friend request, because I can maby learn something from them, and we can share our ideas, and so on. I don't need to have many friends here in myLot, but just some, who is active and wants to discuss here on myLot and maybe can give me some new ideas.
