who do you love most from your parents?...mom or dad?

in general most girls like their fathers more then their mother while boys love their mothers more then their fathers , what's your opinion?

I would love to say that I love them equally but that would be dishonest. I have to say I prefer my mum (even though I am a female myself). My Dad has a really bad temper that puts him in such a bad mood, he can be in this mood for nearly every day so that it seems like this is his normal mood. He gets so agressive when he loses his temper as well, in the past he has done many things like smashing plates, writing on the wall and even physical violence. I don't think I could ever love him as much as my mum unless he sorted his anger management issues out.

that's unusual nearly all my male friends said they liked their mothers more,while my female friends said their fathers......you sure?
WAIT.....are you an only child??..... that would be the reason cause dad's side more with their daughters while mothers more with their son....just saying....

Really? Its really true that "dad's side more with their daughters while mothers more with their son"? 'Cos if anything I think it would have been the other way round because they are more likely to connect with their children of the same gender 'cos they're more likely to understand them. I personally would rather a daughter than a son.
And yes, I am an only child =)

I love them both and equally. I'm more closer to my mom but that doesn't mean that my love for my dad is lesser. I don't see any reason why every child should weigh their love for their parents.

your right they shouldn't buuut,I'm talking about a general response there are many who love both parents equally and many who love one more then the other even if it a little more, that my friends is what i want to know,do GIRLS love there fathers a little more then there moms and BOYS there moms more then there fathers,not that it's tense topic to discuss it's just a general opinion, something i want to relate to....that's it

I love both my parents but im extremely CLOSE with my mom. She's my best friend. When we lived in the same state I lived across the street from her. I would go to her house everyday after work for dinner :0). We talk about everything under the sun. We talk about 5-6 times a day. Sum things most wouldnt dare discuss with their mom. I couldn't imagine not having her in my life! She is HEAVEN SENT!!!
