What if Mylot will allow us to post ref links or any other links like a blog on how to make more money online? But only under ONE interest? In that way we can get referrals here and we can help/teach newbies to earn more money?

Probably you can use twitter and other social network site to get referrals but do not post any referral links to any forum sites because it is one of the restricted policies they have.
It is also not good to post ref links here just to think of getting people to join you. We need to have "Netiquette" and to hunt people for that, we can use our social network sites where we can invite friends. So the question you asked if Mylot will allow links to be posted, never is the answer.

Yeah but famous social networks are not for earning money, unlike here. That's why so many members here are interested in making more money online. But you are right, mylot wouldn't allow it. That's why I'm suggesting just for ONE INTEREST to be allowed to post ref links.

I sincerely hope myLot won't ever allow its users to post ref links. Though I could use some referrals , I don't think it would be a good idea to create an interest for ref links. Can you imagine how many people would come only to post their referral links? People who don't like to discuss, don't read the guidelines and post all kind of spam all over myLot.

I dont know why it is considered unethical to post links here-I want to agree with you that this should have been allowed by mylot.

It is not the posting of links which is unethical so much as the nature of the post. There is very little 'of quality' one can write in response to a 'discussion' which effectively says 'Join here'. Most of the Guidelines are aimed at encouraging good and valid discussion and discouraging topics which can never be.
MyLot is a DISCUSSION site. So many people lose sight of that fact and do nothing to start ... or continue DISCUSSION.

no, i don't agree with that because otherwise this site will become a junk and people will only discussed about how to make more money... take care and have a nice day...

NO LINKS. we have a profile page that we can put our opportunities on. We get enough abuse as it is. Members, new and more mature, frequently do not read the guidelines. I know I was overwhelmed when I first got here. There are tons of other sites where you can post your opportunites. I come to mylot to get content of other subjects, not earning money. Most of the links that do get posted...you have difficulty earning there. There are exceptions like neobux and a few others. I have social sites like APSense and ListQuik that I can post and earn at. I also can talk to friends here and if I am interested in their opportunity, I PM them. I joined a program with stine1.
Prosperous mylotting
