A retreat master once asked a batch of high school girls Would you like to live forever? And the young girls shrieked Eeeekkkk! Wrinkles! I suppose that means they do not one to grow old and look ugly. So they'd rather die. What about you? Would you like to live forever?

Lol even though if they did, when you're six feet under you're just gonna be a feast for the worms.. For me a common desire in every single human being like us is to live happily forever, stay young, worry about nothing and whatnot, hence you'd see everyday that people would try any possible way there is just to stay as they are right now.. I won't say that it's wrong, it's perfectly normal in fact.. I wanna live forever too, but then you just gotta admit that everything in this world fades. What I'm implying is... you just gotta believe in something don't you? :p

Yes, everything fades, except the earth and the sea... I am one with you, in believing that we have got to hang on to something and live a life. Have you found yours?

Why yes... I hope so..almost all my life I've been searching for it, and seems to me like I'm still ^^ I'm a kind of person who'd want evidence to bring me to the truth, not the other way round ..what about you??

No if I am going to get old and weak. But if I will stay young and strong. Maybe I would accept the offer. There are still a lot of things I want to see and experience and I don't think that a lifetime is enough.

angel, reality is, we do get older every minute of every day... We could only hope to sustain our youthful strength as age. Please do everything that you can to make all your dreams come true, for that is all that there is to a wonderful life - the fulfillment of our dreams. Keep the Almighty in your endeavors. He is the key to success. More blessings to you!

I definitely don't think that I would want to live forever, but I also know that I'm not ready to die now either. I would like to live a long life where I have the opportunity to experience all of the things that I would like to experience during my life. However, once I've experienced all of those things, I really don't think that there will be anything for me to live for. That said, I don't want to live forever.

Everybody wants to live full circle, that is why we get a bit shocked when one is gone too soon. It is as if we have to live to a ripe old age, for that sort of completes a life. I do hope we get to reach that.

Hi.I think living forever is not a good idea. For me every individual person is here on the Erth for one reason. To see and touch the life.To see everything good and bad and that makes him a better person for him and his friends. And may be the most immportant thing(for me) is one day to have one of these sweet things who will looks at me with his little sweety eyes and tell me "dad".

Hi eileenleyva, Not if I have to carry around this old body lol! That is a very good question and many of us would answer yes because we just don't want to die. If we could stay young, say as we are at 21 all the time, I expect most would say yes. So many new things are happening today that it probably wouldn't get boring. Of course I feel as I expect you do, that we are not our body and that we never truly die. Blessings.

Yes, Pose, we never truly die. There are so much more to do and think about today than to dwell on that dying thing. And yes, if not for this body, I would also believe I am just 21.

One of my dream is to live forever and I want it happen here on earth with a paradise environment. I think there's no one will refuse to live forever. It's many people's dream although some people don't believe but for I am hoping that there's an opportunity that we can live forever if we follow and make the good things that God want us to do.

july, I would like to believe as you do, for who would not want a paradise here on earth. But reality check, that will not happen in my lifetime. As it is, I am amenable to doing the good things.

I would only want to live forever only if people who matter to me would. I wouldn't want to be a lonely immortal.

If I'm able to live forever, I should have very good health. While good health comes from our diet and exercising. With all that, we won't be looking as old as we should be. Wrinkles are part of the aging process. Even if we don't live forever, wrinkles are bound to appear when we hit our 30s and 40s onwards. So does it mean by time we see wrinkles, it's time to die? Surely not right? People thinking only about appearance lacks a brain to think and they don't deserve to live forever.

Hi Bernie, that is the Christian belief, that we have to instill goodness in this earthly life and then we can have an eternal blissful life as our reward. Let's do that, and then we move on to heaven's eternity....

I do not like to spend the rest of my life on top of a mountain, it could get very hot on top. But I'd like a cottage in the woods... and my grandchildren to poke on, even if know that they will soon leave me to live their own lives. As for the world to see, I already see it everyday. Won't miss it. The afterworld will be better.

I dream of spending eternity with Almighty God our Father, where all goodness comes, when I die physically. This life although it is good, still comes with hardships and suffering. It is nice to know that the Son of God made suffering profitable by dying on the cross. Let us offer every suffering to the Lord for the good of all!

Who says that older people are ugly? I have seen a few old people who look better and charming than they were in their teens. Experience and self learning had given some maturity to their face, a peaceful look. And I see them as ripe fruits. But so many people grow old with tiredness and with vengeance and so their face looks ugly to see, even. I bet, one can live long, beautiful with wrinkles in old age too.

You are correct on all counts. I think I already said somewhere that beauty is the privilege of the young, but ugliness is definitely not an apt description for the wrinkles and the silvery strands. For it is with age that a person even becomes more beautiful and gracious.

Hi eileen leyva: I don't think so. Sometimes I feel scared after thinking about the day I will die. So, if I could make a wish, I'll wish to live for a long time and to have the gift of enjoying my future days, to have that peace in my mind and heart that will make me love my life. And I'll also love to be a wiser person. Thanks for asking us this question. Have a nice day. ALVARO

I can't live forever, and it is not part of the nature cause. I will get old and die. No, even I have the option to live forever, I will choose to die. I don't want to see the ones I love would die before me, and I can not bear the idea of it.

Everybody wants to live forever if they felt good and prosperous but if they felt and in the bad situation - some says I want to die.. For me dieing is not thing that we fear off it is an opportunity to settledown in the place where you belongs. No problem to die early as long as your life spend here on earth worthly and good... see you around
