Are you good in sales talk?

I wonder if there are people around here in mylot that is good in sales talk.I can say I'm not and I want to know some tips and tricks how to convince a buyer as I am planning to built a business of my own in some months but first of all,I wanted to know and study which is nicer that will give good and steady profit.I know it's hard but some of my friends being good in sales talk is one of the factor that will make your business going.So anyone?

When I was sixteen I did a trial with a double glazing window company and I can honestly say it was an eye opening experience. I'm not a very good seller, I couldn't ever make a living of doing this and I have some degree of respect for those who do. I'm good with sales talk however and there's not much a salesman can trick me with, as I like to see how they explain things especially when buying a laptop or mobile phone. I have always thought that I was a poor salesperson. I am not good at talking people into things. I have been on mylot for two years now and am just now putting up referral banners! I know - it's easy but I just don't think I am good at it at all!

i think i am...they said sales is pretty much persuading people to buy your story or to make them believe that they really need whatever your offering them. I have been awarded a couple of times convincing people so i think thats part of sales..and im good at it.

I find the better people are at "Sales Talk" are the people I least want to buy from. I do a bit of a study for it because I sell nutritional products, which means products to help you live healthier, for a company from the united states. And I get to talk to a lot of people in regards to what the products do, and build myself a sales team. Speaking of which, we are giving a chance to new and old distributors to earn a free Carribean Cruise this year, it should be a lot of fun. Anyways, I wanted to learn how to best "sell" the product and the opportunity. What I learned is the best thing to do, is make friends with your prospect, determine whether or not the Want(not need) what you have to offer, and if they want it, inform them of it, and then let them make the decision. first, make yourself presentable. cheerful and approachable. you must have the confidence that people will like your products. study your products in details why people should buy it from you! talk to your customer like your neighbors or friends. be yourself, be natural..self-confidence. if one customer won't buy it's okey always think, there are tons of fishes in the ocean to be caught. don't get discourage quickly. because sometimes if today no customer tomorrow they flock like birds.! most of all you are happy to sell like I do. If sell something I felt like I won lotto.! I am selling fashion jewelry!

not really... i am good at providing customer service to customers but not selling goods... i don't have talents in selling goods... that's why i never want to work as a salesperson... but one thing for sure that every sales person must have is a persuasion and determination skills... also, every sales person must know very well the products that they are selling to the customers in order to be able to sell their goods... take care and have a nice day...

I guess I am. Last night I gave a seminar about this networking business we're in. I've managed to convince a lot of them to join us. I guess the technique is knowing what your customer is expecting and targeting that. Its also about making your sharing personal so they would believe that what you're selling is true. Its about them being able to relate to you.

I should admit that i am not good in sales talk.I am a person with little words in daily life.It is so hard to make a good sales talk to the customer.So i should practise more to make good in sales talk.

hello friend. i am not so good at sales talk face to face. being an international trader in china. and do it well in the world for my job. and do it well at what i should do . but i am not so good to speak the sale talk with my customer face to face . i am so honest. so sometimes i am so easy to be angry when customer pay some attenthion to my honesty . thank you .

I am not good in talking, i don't have the convincing power, I envy my friends who are good in talking because they are also good in business. Your planning of building your own business that's good, go on my friend, you can learn the process of convincing as long as you have the "capital".

Hello..I can say I am good in sales talk...Our business is kinda weird.We are selling butterflies dried and live also beetles.We are on exporting so it needs a lot of patience to sell but for almost 3years now we are still on the line.We use computer and internet to sell our [products.WE didn't see our clients we just talk through email so it's really hard.You need a lot of strategy to sell your products.And make sure you have always new to offer to them and some promos for you to sell your products. First study first what kind of business you want to put up. Make sure that the one you know and love.It's like a job, you must love and value so it will work out. Then the place is also one of the most important factor to consider maybe you know what i am saying.Then if you know already what kind of business study very well first so when people asks you about your business you can explain to them very well like the who refer this to me he is very kind and a lot of patience.You must have patience.If you have only 100 then triple as much as possible because O am sure you will need it.When you are also selling your products make sure that you are neat and clean always smile be happy so your customers will come to you. I have a lot in my mind to share but I think this one will help.Good luck :)

You have to know your products well, the benefit and the weakness, and be frank with the customers. And you have to know how to counter the weakness and convince the customer that you will help them fixing it.

i can help u with that as m in retail business and m doing good there m into direst selling first rule of selling is dont sell the product coz product dont sell dreams sell sell it like a dream and if u know any disqualitis of the product present it as the products highlite i cn tell u a few eg wil not put any name in the story one builder build the appartament building with the roof cruket he thouht about repayiring it but the amount ut was taking wa too much so he went to his sales teem they told him to present his building as full proof protection from curces that is why the roof is like this i have ment to tell

sale itself isn't just a sale closure. selling is the entire process, the speech, the knowledge, the trust, your appearance etc. there are lot of books and information available around, just make a research, as well as surround yourself with top salespersons so u can learn directly from them.

Starting is new business is not really easy. Although some are really lucky enough when they go into business. Having a good sales talk is one of the key if you go into business but before you could go into it you have to know well the kind of business that you have. You should be knowledgeable to it so that you could convince your future customers effectively.
